Good morning Treefam..........I am up and need coffee..............

You get used to it... we moved over here to South Dakota from central Orygun a little over 12 years ago (the price was right) and got slammed in the face hard with the radical weather here - 105 in summer and -20 (not including wind chill factor) with 12-15-foot snow drifts in the winter. Didn't think I was going to be able to tolerate it, but, even though we still gripe about it constantly, we are acclimatized now.I don't believe I could handle the weather that you are enduring.
Four years in Tucson? ... Davis-Monthan AFB by any chance? I did about a year and a half there. Got on great with their weather, but I admit the 40-foot walls of water rushing down the dry washes when the intense thunderstorms dumped heavy rain really kept me on my toes all summer (while not at work, I was always out hiking the desert) - and I was the weather forecaster!I did spend four years in Tucson Arizona, but like they say it's dry heat.
Sorry to hear.....sending some calming energy to you...................6/9#1
Sorry to disappear these last few days.Rough is not the right word to describe what's gone on.

On the 'puter a bit early today, but that's only because it is relatively cool down here in the dungeon where the computers are and the main floor is hotter than Hades on a Saturday night.

Welcome to ECF @GordyBas Check out this neat contest thread where you can win some really good e-liquid just by chatting with the great folks who hang out here (see complete "rules" on page 1). Lots of fun here! Nicest people on the forum and you just might learn a thing or twelve...

Yup, flyboy with both boots planted firmly on the rocks. "The sky is our battlefield" applied to me only in that I plotted upper air charts, analyzed atmospheric thermodynamics (and a whole bunch of other big words), went home at the end of the day, changed into my jeans and cowboy hat, strapped on my .45 single action (in case I met Mr.Rattler), and went out to commune with the Saguaros.I should have known you were a Flyboy Fuzzy............something just told me that......
Thank you...I can use it...did hear from my son a little while ago, and it seems someone is finally trying to do something to get him the right insulin...his sugars are still way too high, but hopefully that'll change soon.6/10 #3

I wish we had that weather... It is so hot here, I'm sure I just saw a Hobbit climb my front gate and throw his ring into my driveway. For those "enjoying" the heat I had to turn on the furnace last night after several days of overcast, fog, and wind,
