TIOA Sns 8 eps 123: Darlin continued to eat, she grabbed some more food and went towards Angel. "Are you hungry?" "No." "Why not?" "Hmm, well you just eat, I think some water sounds good." "Okay." Darlin went back to the table, she grabbed a little chicken leg. It was already cool, she bit into it immediately. The juices flew through her mouth, it was so good. Darlin ate the rest of it fast.

Darlin looked over the rest of the table, her eyes got big, she could not believe it. She went over and took a little slice of brisket. She ate it, and grabbed some lettuce, she placed it on some bread, Darlin put on pickles, and onions. She took the mustard, she liked the mustard. Darlin placed a lot of mustard on her bread. She even put a dash of fresh pepper. Darlin made herself a little sandwich, with lots of lettuce, she ate it fast.

Darlin came back around the table. "Hey Angel, did you get your water yet?" Angel looked over at her, and smiled. "No." Darlin skipped around the table she was hungry, she real fast grabbed another bite of the brisket. She ate it, and licked off her fingers. She stopped and walked slowly, Darlin grabbed the cup carefully. The water must not be spilt, she thought. Darlin walked slower, but still with purpose.

She handed the cup to Angel. Angel looked down at her and smiled, she took the cup and said. "Thank you." "Your welcome!" Darlin said as she raced back to the table. Darlin kept eating, she enjoyed the toasted bread and seasoning. Angel listened to the sounds outside, she sipped on the water. Angel went to the table and got some toast herself. "Angel, the brisket is good!" Darlin said skipping around the table.

Angel smiled and ate the toast, she grabbed some brisket. Angel at some and drank more water. "Hmmm, this is good." she thought. Angel took in more water, and took a bite of the toast with the brisket together. "Okay." Angel looked for a chair to sit in. Darlin ran by her again. "The grapes are great Angel."

TIOA Sns 8 eps 124: Angel ate and went down the hall with Darlin, she sat in her chair with no help; she waited for Darlin to sit. The soldiers lined up around the two, Angel waited for the first. A rather large and well sized man and some other men came up. "So, another of the family. Like a ghost, no evidence; no people who can say anything. Sounds kind of familiar." The man pointed towards Darlin. "So how do we know she did not do this?"

Angel looked over at the man, then towards his finger and back towards Darlin. That made her mad, but she took in a deep breath and looked back towards the man. She started to raise her eyebrow. "We knew nothing of this event, or the one before. I am truly sorry for all that has taken place to your family. It is neither of us, and so. Our soldiers, and all money; can be used to find the killers of your family. As much as is practical, we can go door to door and look. Is this acceptable?"

The man dropped his hand down, and shook his head yes. "This is good. We will tell the king and his men." Angel breathed in deep, she took her eyes of the men and looked over to her right and down at Darlin. Darlin watched the men walk away, her legs were swinging, she noticed Angel looking at her. "Yeah Angel?" Angel bent down smiling. "Early day, we can go to bed if we want; or do anything we want." Darlin looked up at Angel. "Are you serious?"

"Yes, come on." Angel stood and took Darlin's hand, she helped her down. The two walked down the hall, soldiers started to follow behind. "Angel? Why are those men mad?" Angel looked down and stopped. She went to her knee and placed her hands on Darlin's cheek's. "Remember the conversation about execution?" Darlin looked up at Angel, she thought for a minute. "Yes." "Well, those men; are part of a family. Someone is.... ummmm taking their lives. Remember?"

Darlin looked down and thought for a second. She did not like the sound of it. She looked up at Angel. "I think so, is there anything like ice-cream around here?" Angel looking down started laughing, Darlin laughed with her. The two went down the hall.

I might add one last point to the happenings of today: in Florida, it is illegal to carry a gun in any restaurant or bar, therefore the attack happened in a "gun free zone" where none of those people who were obeying the law, were allowed to protect themselves against the criminal who came in with a gun. In other words, the existing gun laws did not prevent the violence. Both Obama and the press are not allowing that point to come out when once again they attack our 2nd Amendment rights to defend ourselves. Further restriction of the rights of law-abiding citizens will not stop the criminals.

What does it mean when I look at this and notice, sadly, that the colors highlight state's similar shape to that of a hand gun? All respect to you, Uncle--I understand the sentiment--I guess that with the news that's just what my mind saw. Tragedy piled upon tragedy.

I didn't know her, but a friend of a friend was among the fatalities. Today has felt similar to 9-11 for me. Overwhelming fear/grief/anger/helplessness and then amazement at the outpouring of support. So I helped where I could. www.gofundme.com/pulsevictimsfund

My boss, unsolicited, texted me earlier telling me I could stay home tomorrow, to be with friends and loved ones, with pay. I actually do have to go in to pick up materials for a Tuesday morning meeting the opposite direction from our office. So, I thanked him for his thoughtfulness. I am blessed to work where I do!

My commiserations for the travesty thats taken place in Orlando.

From what we know over the pond this is a hate crime masquerading as a terror attack orchestrated once again by the good old US government, its a genuine shame they feel need to do stuff like this to get your vote or pass laws "for yours/national protection" makes me sick to my stomach.

Hello treefam. Sickened by the events in Orlando over the weekend. So much hate in this world today. I have seen the stories about this being related to ISIS, but I think it really is just a hate crime committed by some deranged individual.

Well from what I heard this morning they are supposed to be laying off more people today.. Wonder who it will be this week

Today is Sam's and Walmart day.. For work anyway, I did my shopping yesterday. We need office and cleaning supplies. At least it will get me out of here for a while.

Watching the "news" shows this morning. If anybody remembers the Pearl, MS school shooting from years ago, I teach at a Jr. College that is literally next door. I detest these mass shootings, whatever the so-called "motivation". However, I think it is even more despicable the way elected officials and the media automatically use tragedies like this to promote an agenda. If you spend 2 minutes talking about the victims and 20 minutes talking about the need for more laws.....that pretty much shows your priorities.
