Good afternoon all. Got most of my errands done and had some lunch. It's a pretty decent 77°F here today with a nice breeze blowing and not a ton of humidity. I'm gonna take this sore, swollen ankle out for a little walk. Just an easy one though.

Errands run. Went by the local library and picked up 2 more dvds and put a hold on season one of Game of Thrones.
We'll see if it is to my tastes. Not sure how long I'll have to wait but since I am already 5 or 6 seasons behind it should not be a problem

Ditto {whew whips forehead} waiting for the old boss to finally drop off my last check, and he is ........ late again, was supposed to have it days ago. And if you stop and listen carefully, cause he knows all the laws and can not be touched, there is one If you only knew the company I was with and all I can not say, but wow...... wow...... huge, and though I am working at home right now, and have to do some labor, soon it will be all thought and directing of employees including the boss. I will be in charge of the whole department, it will be a lot of my way, and his rules cause it is his company. Right paid for the headache, which is not much of a headache if you know your stuff..... and not afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Obviously did not go on the monthly shopping trip today. Chaos ruled here yesterday afternoon, so got behind and put off the trip until Moon Day. Just after 1 PM, 92 degrees, 58% RH, sunny, hardly any breeze, and working outside today is going to be a major . Likely be 100 today, but with al ittle luck, maybe some evening thunderstorms. The pastures are in desperate need of rain. Oh well...

Think I finally straightened out my online library accounts. There are 2 separate accounts - one for ebooks and 1 for local libraries physical items - books, dvds, etc. Glad I check since the librarian put the blu-ray version of Game of Thrones on hold for me instead of the dvd version.

Well - "MoringNite" - "Tree People" . . .

. . . First - THANK YOU - Everyone I do appreciate your concern, however just like "@glassmanoak" said with what I have been going through since "My" Quintuple Bypass Operation in February, other Health Issues, Cardiac Rehab, and given certain events that have been happening the past few weeks (and some other "stuff') - I really NEEDED all the "Me" time I could get - especially so I could get "My" own head back on track with what I NEED to do to stay sane . . . Well - At least what is sane for "Me" . . .

AND - Yes - While it has been some time since I posted here as "@liblue1" mentioned - it really is nothing unusual right now - I haven't been posting as much as I usually do anywhere . . . Matter of fact, I put "My" cell phone in a draw, shut off "My" home phone (They are going to stay off too), and refused to answer the door - even limited myself with accessing the Internet/Email/ECF too (especially since I now have to return some "shinnies" I definitely DO NOT NEED) . . . So all in all - not only am I an Old Curmudgeon - I've become somewhat of a Hermit also . . .

Now with that said - just a few comments . . .

@tiggerrts . . . WOW - CONGRATULATIONS ! ! ! Especially on being "Fired" - it is the best thing that could have happened to Ya' . . . Not only because Ya' didn't NEED the stress any longer, but "You" could have collected unemployment (and made him pay even more money via the government benefits) if "You" didn't already get that JOB . . . BTW: GOOD GOING - I knew Ya' would be able to do it (and get though it with all the Absolute GREAT Advice everyone gave "You" too) . . . Just always remember to keep the emotions in check and close to the chest next time and like so many others said - Stay focused and positive, breath and then breath again, Always Remember Who You Are ! ! !

Internet was out all day yesterday ..and just came back up...who knows for how long
Good news is ...after twiddling my thumbs for a good bit ...I remembered what it is I USED to do before the internet "Oh Ye Bottomless Pit of Distraction" came into existence.
And I actually ENJOYED my new found freedom.

Yes, training is a pain... but hopefully you will get a sharp tack who you can keep sending off to do small helpful tasks so you can maintain your sanity ....I think it's also called a "mommie break" .... .... and then there's always that legal research down at the law library ...that should take a couple hours if you're really swamped with no time to train.

Off work and at home already, starting to cook down some onions peppers and steak because David wants steak quesadillas for dinner

It's not normally my Saturday to work but the scanner at my desk broke so I've been depending on someone else to scan stuff in so I can index it all and needless to say that's not going very well.. I'm waaaay behind on paperwork, so I'm going to go in for a few hours in the morning and see if I can catch up some. I can't wait for them to get mine fixed or get me a new one :/

Angel, it's too bad I live so far away or I'd apply for that assistant job. I am well versed in being bossed around (been married for...uh, what? 500 years now?) Well, temp is up to 98 so I have no doubt we'll be at least 100 this afternoon. It is already 108 in the chicken coop, even with the doors wide open. I turned the sprinklers on in the garden, not only to water the tomatoes and peppers, but to soak the lilac hedge, which will provide relief for all the chickens hiding out in there. I hope both my Pyrs go in there too (much too much long fur).

Sounds like your chickens need a misting system, @Fuzzy Thunderbear. Miserable hot and humid here the the South, but at least a 2-3 degrees cooler than you. I hate when the humidity is so high that sweat won't evaporate enough to help cool you down.
