2. Think I've become a bad influence on my bf...just spent the last few hours vape shopping because he wants to stock up on a few things...well you don't have to twist my arm for that!
...and the best part is I got to shop and he paid for it!

Well, mom came back to retrieve her youngster. I was a little bit worried cause Bambi was not looking too lively. All is good, though. Until the sharpshooters start thinning ....

We seem to be picking up smoke from the Santa Barbara fires down here--it must be blowing out over the ocean and then circulating back onto shore with the sea breeze (aided, no doubt, to the coastal eddy that hangs off-shore this time of year). The sunlight has taken on that faint orange hue and one can definitely pick up the scent when the breeze picks up.

And how are your neighbors yards looking. Any flowers in my area do not last more than a few days after planting/blooming - nipped right off.

Cop neighbor completed the form I need to register the bike. Have to wait til Tuesday to do it cause the DMV here is closed on Mondays.
Will probably finish getting it ready tomorrow - need to put the saddlebags on and make sure they're properly loaded again.

The deer definitely keep things trimmed up around here. I've had them devour 2 pear trees that I planted and they really seem to like my hosta plants. My parents live a mile away and they have a hard time keeping the Deer away from their Rose Garden. I grow my vegetables on my deck so they don't seem to be bothered.

Did alot of stuff today that I had been putting off for a while. Only thing I didn't get done was the 7 chapters of reading in the book the pastor gave us last week for our meeting tomorrow... Hopefully he understands it's been a very busy week for us..
Well about to get ready for bed. Goodnight everyone

Well, I have to say that this has been the best birthday I've had in as long as I can remember. Of course, as I am getting older, as long as I can remember generally encompasses just a few weeks
After birthday wishes all day long, I came home to a new mod, a nap, and then a perfectly cooked (mooooo) NY Strip, a sweet steamed artichoke, a baked tater with all the fixin's, and a coffee stout.
Might find a bit of room later for cake or ice cream, but for now, I'm just gonna bask...
