Good morning everyone, what a scorcher out here today, already 90° at 10:00 am and will be triple digits today!! I'm going to be blessed today with my kids coming over for dinner. It's 74 here already. The mid 90's inland.
I grew up in the 90+ temp + 90+ humidity and don't think I could live in that again. Or the snow and winter ice storms.
I keep considering the San Diego area for retirement. That average 5+ or so degrees warmer can make a big difference.

Well I plan to enjoy the day and no matter what the temps get up to this week......I have somethings to get done...most of it is inside so it won't matter till the night time...and that's usually the worst for me.......I will not let it get me down this week.......

TIOA Sns 8 eps 127: Darlin ran around the room, she was getting more excited each night; the day was getting closer. A slumber party with Scott, she was getting very hyper. She spun her finger and made a little rock appear. She slung her finger forward and the rock went forward, it hurdled fast through the air, just before reaching the wall on the other end. She waved her left finger, and another small rock appeared. She whipped her finger forward, the rock sailed. The two hit in air and splintered into pieces.

Darlin spun her fingers many times like this and destroyed many little rocks. She stopped and decided she might like a snack. "Where was Angel?" she thought. Darlin sailed down the spiral stairs, this time just straight and forward; her stomach was growling hard. She flew around the room and table and food lifted into the air. She had them land on a plate and one more for Angel just in case. She dropped to the ground and took her plate out of the air, the other floated and followed her.

Darlin sat in a chair, Angel's plate set on a little table beside her, she started to eat and hum. She finally got a strawberry and popped it in her mouth. She took her left hand and spun her finger, little fireworks started to pop right in front of her. She sat back and watched the show, while eating. The soldiers stood at all entrances and exits of the area. Darlin paid no attention to them and continued to eat, she spun her finger again, and a world zoomed up, fast and through a jungle and trees, zig zagging, she watched as she went through the Amazon. Darlin took a bite of the toast without moving her eyes off the show.

"Hey how are you?" asked Angel coming from the stairs. "Okay, thank you; are you hungry?" Angel walked around Darlin's little show and sat down. She picked up the plate. "How was it she always knows what I am hungry for?" thought Angel. She started to eat, and watched the show.

I went to college in @Earthtograce's neck of the woods and, later, traveled to Atlanta for business on a regular basis. On summer days, it would be like swimming between buildings. Yuck.

I keep considering the San Diego area for retirement. That average 5+ or so degrees warmer can make a big difference.

That it does--particularly on days like this when the -5 degree difference with the Bay Area sound very enticing!

Was going to the grocery store but it's storming so we are ordering in Chinese food... Guess I'll go grocery shopping tomorrow.
