Good morning treefam. Back at the old grind after a nice 3 day weekend. Stayed offline most of it and enjoyed time with family and friends. Of course it had to pour the rain down yesterday, so that put a damper on things. Oh well it was still nice having the extra day off and a short week this week. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, everyone. We had decent weather for our fireworks show--except that the presenter had a mishap about 10 minutes into the show and the fire marshal shut them down for 40 minutes, by which time most people had left (us included). They resumed for about 5 minutes and then got shut down again... this time for good. Fortunately, there were plenty of other fireworks shows around...

Julius 5 - 1: Taking the day off, sore from sparring with the boys. Might looser today, but not going to push it. Even the horoscope said chill today, and relax the mind. Not sure that part is going to work. I had to run, well walk to the bank, to deposit a check; you know bills. While I am walking a pit bull bit me in the calf, not on a leash. Animal Control is searching for it right now. I am 6' 1" and it came around like who cares, what if it was a little child? One small cut in the leg, some skin; but nope. Too aggressive and off a leash, it ran as I turned around, you bet it's face was about to be broken.

Had a surprise last night - a neighbor was flying a drone - at least that's where it seemed to home. First thought was that we needed to call Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones to take care of aliens.

@tiggerrts, ouch. Glad it wasn't worse! I like animals, but I don't understand this new-found belief that dogs can and should be taken everywhere...

Ouch @tiggerrts glad all is ok. Too many irresponsible pet owners these days. Hope animal control finds the dog and the owner.
Been kinda busy today. Surprising considering the holiday yesterday. I figured everyone was broke from buying beer and fireworks.

Good morning all. Lots of thunderstorms last night, so we finally got some decent rain (hopefully more tonight). Today's task is to fix the chicken coop door and shovel all the crap out and wheel it to the compost heap. That's gonna be lots of fun, given that I still don't have full use of the left arm. Oh well...
