Good morning all, off to work for me. This contest inspired me to pull out an old unfinished sketch. Yes I am enough of a spaz to be reminded simply by the work tree and seeing lots of trees. Still unfinished but thought I'd share.

We've been busy as a cat coverin' crap here.
Almost time for school to start back. D's gonna be a high schooler this year, 8th grade at 11 lol. It should be fun, I get to go to school all over again

@Kprthevapr Perfect timing, sweetie. I just popped in for a vape break and to wipe off all the excess sweat (gonna have to soak in the tub a long time tonight - Poowie!) Anyhoo... everybody is all right on this side of the planet. So D jumped ahead a couple grades? Far out! So, ya got all yer "back to school" shopping done yet? Are you just a little tense about high school dances and stuff that will be happening this year? We all crossed the line a few times back then... Hogs & Quiches...

Don't hafta do a bunch of shopping, thank goodness.
He's homeschooled through the independent study program, so we can get by on not having to buy new school clothes and stuff for now.
Once we get his books and assignments, we'll know what we need to buy, makes it easier on me and my wallet

Can you believe I lost my cup of coffee. Finally found it in the bathroom and I don't even remember going in there.
Happens with my vape all the time but coffee which is almost attached to my hand from the time I get up.

I lose things like that all the time. I lost a mod in the house over a week ago, still looking for it (kind of). I didn't leave home with it so I know it will turn up in a closet or in the couch or something.

I've always been of the opinion that teaching at home was faster and with far less propaganda programming (government brainwashing)... I'll stop there because a lot of folks on this thread don't like political stuff... As long as mom and dad remember to involve the kids in social awareness (e.g., involvement with other kids, etc.), then home school is superior. Keep on Truckin'...

Gotta go do dinner and evening chores now. Later gang.

Craft fair is over. Very little traffic today and no sales. Luckily I did well enough yesterday to cover costs, buy the english toffee and have a little left over.
Will take it easy for a while, do a few small things, and then relax for the evening.

I'm not looking forward to school shopping either. They have some package deal you can order online that costs twice as much, and it's almost worth it to not go shopping, but the binders and everything are poor quality... so you end up replacing them anyway. At least my college age daughter gets her own supplies now.

@westhc Those flowers are pretty cool! Looks like quite a bit of time and effort to make them. I like them.

Been a bit of an odd day. Up kinda early, didn't do anything. Went to lunch and then went to have a walk. Got poured on, again. Home and dried off.

Seriously, how it is after 7 pm... I have no idea. If I could get a day at work to go this fast I might not mind going.

I'm glad my daughter is graduated now, so there's less desire for new school year clothes. We did go shopping for a new tablet since the nursing program uses mostly ebooks now and she didn't want to pack a laptop every day.
