Oh I have been right the whole time? Oh your daughter is not saved by the law anymore? And you will "Never, ever tell me again, that I have not paid my child support." He asked many times if he could speak, really you want in this house, she broke into it three times and admitted it by text. I was just accused of breaking into her house, by her father. Oh I was never there with you he said. You do not remember me taking the girls possessions over and you being right there, telling me it was too much stuff? I guess you must have been sleeping that day............... Oh remember I ask you "Ex dad" any and all plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives, pots, pans........ Can we come over? Serious, do you have my stuff, is it pawned or sold off? Long amounts of time, thought and silence...... Guess who won the conversation?

Time to stalk the mail lady here at work. I have vape mail out for delivery! My GMO juice should be here today! Yay!

I am not sure if I have anything "out for delivery" today...........might have some non-vapemail stuff.....like rocks or stones........but then I might.......I have been bad this month...purchased a few things to put away till needed........

Quick check in, we are still stuck back here, they are airlifting out people on oxygen and stuff first. So we are pretty much at the end of the list. It's hot, the kids are miserable, we are safe but we only have about a days worth of water left. David went to a place where they are handing out water and ice. He's been in line 2 hours.. Fingers crossed they will have some left when he makes it through. We did get some cold pizza for lunch from the shelter at the elementary school by our house but they are about out of food there too.. So hopefully we either get out or get supplies soon. Keep us in your thoughts please, along with the rest of everyone stuck in this.

@Mandikay, I'd send you some food and water if I thought it would do any good--but my well wishes will have to suffice. I hope you get out of that mess soon!

On a different note, one of the fish taco places near here switched their seasonal special (Chimichurri salmon) to a different one this week. But the store manager of my local shop knew how much I liked it and sent me home with a couple of frozen bags of the sauce that he had left over!

Went thru the flood/evac thing about 6 years ago in Nashville. Luckily I wasn't living there. I was staying at the Gaylord hotel which had 2 levels under water. Was there right before it all started over the weekend and got out of town on the next Wed - things were bad there.
Still getting rain here with flood watches thru tomorrow - not looking like there'll be any problems in my area except for the idiots on the road.

still catching up on reading threads. running errands, and cleaning house.
I've got a bunch of basil plants started. Boy did I create a job for myself. I think I will be transplanting basil plants all day tomorrow.
@Mandikay we are praying for you. I hope you get out of that situation soon.

That's funny! I don't think I've ever got a rock in the mail, Lol!

Picked up the W mail before I left and yep, GMO juice was there! Along with a package from GB with a few different rebuildable tanks. May play with one of those later with GMO juice in it.

No water:/ we did get ice though. And they had Dr Pepper.. I'm not really a soda person but I guess it will have to do. It's so crazy how this is happening, it's literally like we are on a tiny little island of dry land and everything else around us is completely under water. So it's really hard to get out. We just got word that everyone that does have power will be losing it in the morning, they have to cut it off because the substation is getting flooded plus it will make it easier to do rescues, I'm not sure how but they said it will,so I guess they know what they are doing. The shelter is out of food now, we tried to get some for dinner but no luck so we had peanut butter and honey on hamburger buns.. It's better than nothing. I remember during Katrina and Gustav the Red Cross and volunteers were passing out food and water to people that were stuck but we haven't seen anything yet
My neighbor is on oxygen and will run out tomorrow so we are trying to find away to get out with her in the morning because it's starting to get dark now so no more rescues for a while.
Gonna try and keep my phone charged for the morning so I will check back in when I can.
