Saw a traffic bulletin on my way home warning that I-55 is closed at the La state line due to flooding. Here's hoping all our Cajun Country Treefam cuzzins are high & dry and stocked up with batteries and juice.

Finished with the Protank coils for the missus for now - I just need to find the 510 screw and washer that *pinged* behind the fridge when I was cleaning out the base of my beloved Taifun GT2 v2 - *sigh* - I'm down to using my SXK Wine, as my Bellus has a smashed glass on it. And I've completely gone off all tanks that aren't strict MTL flavour ones these days...

I can't believe how bad the flooding is here, we are baracaded in, all the roads in the whole parish are closed, just about everyone I know has a house underwater. Just got the bad news that all the animals at the shelter down the street drowned. They had 10 feet of water come in in a matter of minutes. I'm so upset. They are telling us expect it to get worse before it gets better. I'm not sure how it could get much worse.

Managed to finish what I needed to do on the bike - took a lot longer than I figured on. Had a couple things pop up on me - good thing I had some spare parts.
