mid afternoon check in...........Wow Tiggs....is all I can say.............

Which part? Like I have said, or may never have said before. They were never good with funds and material. They let two of my cars back in the day go, without saying a word to me, for not even one dollar...... Seriously which part is wow! We were at one time one year away from paying off the mortgage, but what did I know? Almost in the mood to write again, have half the book to go and finish it. Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, a very interesting read.

1. Spent most of the day without internet and TV...just went out all of a sudden and took them until early this evening to get it back on...had to find other things to do to occupy our time.

@angelphyre it sucks with no cable and internet. Ours is still down, tomorrow makes a week. At first I was trying not to use up all the mobile data on my phone but it was soooo boring I ended up telling the kids go for it and I went for it to. I was expecting an extremely huge phone bill, because I have watched about a trillion YouTube reviews lol but I got a message from Verizon saying that any data overages would be free from 8/13-8/21 in southern Louisiana because of the flooding. Definitely glad we have Verizon right now. Not only because I won't have a ridiculously expensive phone bill but at&t users still don't have service. The towers went down on the 14th and haven't come back up yet. My girls would be going crazy without thier phones, I swear they act like they would literally die without Snapchat and whatever else apps they are always on.. I have to seriously beg them to go outside and play or walk or well anything that doesn't involve their phones. Definitely different from when I was a kid.
Well it's getting late I guess I better get to bed. Goodnight everyone

That's awesome about the phone bill...I have Verizon too, and wouldn't have AT&T if you paid me...I've never liked them, but especially after Katrina when they had so much problem here...and their customer service just sucks! I hear ya on the kids and their phones too...mine are much the same, and they're in their 20s!

8/20 - 2: Short nap in, think I got another hour and a half total, still a lot on the mind...... This is going to be tight and scary. One thing I thought about my "friend" who was the last one I worked with did not bring my money from Monday to yesterday. Through him I helped another friend work on a job while he was off on vacation, have not been paid for that either.

He kept telling me while I worked on the car with what I could do. "Well at least it is not the engine." Not sure if he was floored when I told him the engine was hosed. Will wait for a bit and call his sister, "Hey I paid $4,000 for a car body, and another $4,000 to replace the engine you told me was rebuilt. You can give me the money, or I am going to get a lawyer and sue you for the money."

Allright back to regular scheduled programs... and the next part if often.
