Was not able to see the full moon last night

Well, from out here on the prairie, it rose over the eastern horizon looking perfectly round and very orange. It was gorgeous.

My camera has died. Still takes pictures that look fine on the computer but the display screen is very fuzzy and distorted. It's only 8 years old.
But new ones are better zoom, smaller footprint, lighter weight. Semi planned obsolescence I guess.

Thank you.......you know I thought about doing that last night.....but now it's too late....I had to take most of it down because I have someone coming to pick up a chair.....and maybe some other things.....I didn't want to share it with those people.....so it is partially disassembled....but the shell remains in the window......

Those of you with school age kids - please, please make sure that they are grounded in basic math (especially arithmetic) skills.
I won't go into the issue I had today with a cashier but I worry for the future.

My Mom made it through the surgery and the Dr seemed pleased with the way it went. Her blood pressure is still low but stable. Thanks Everyone!

@westhc , math skills seem to be getting more scarce every year. That's one of the reasons I don't teach Electronics any more.

I grew up in a grocery store, and later a restaurant. Making change is a no-brainer for me because I learned the "common sense" way of doing it. Kids now only know what the fancy calculator (cash register) tells them. Lord forbid you give them an odd amount so as to minimize your change or get back just quarters...

I'm not too concerned about my daughter's math skills, but my son--let's just say that his confidence sometimes exceeds his ability (then, of course, he's only in third grade...).

I'm going to go flop myself down on a couch somewhere (preferably in my living room, but--at the moment--I'm not picky). Good night, Treefam!

I'm slowly, as usual, packing to go play in the morning. Actually about to cut a wrench down and maybe rewick the Merlin. Usually don't travel with RTA's yet as I'm not 100% confident in my wicking so the Kanger Subtank Plus will be in my pocket in the morning.
