My gf was recently given a pressure cooker, so I asked if I could borrow her crock pot to see if it might help me cook at home, instead of eatin' out all the time. I've made more meals with it, in the last two weeks, than she did in the year she owned it, so she gave it to me.
Try an oven roaster as well, you can do whole chickens, or brisket. Set it on the lowest setting. With brisket, add one whole bottle of bar b que sauce, a lot of water. I like to put some basil in there and some oregano, though some do not like the last one. One trick I heard, add a cup of coke, it helps to tenderize.... you do not want to add tenderizer for an overnight cook, not good for the tummy.
Comes out so soft, and the oven roasters, crockpots, slow cook..... mmmm mmm good.
Glad your trying it out.....
The peach tree I have, once made so much, I canned about 30 jars of jam. We ate about 20 more, and gave away about 100 more, from one tree

. Is supposed to be a miniature peach tree, no taller than three feet, that sucker blew up to five to six feet in the first year. Of course, digging down so the rain, natural water, would pool to it, and dug down even further, about four feet down. I laid tree fertilizer in layers, so the roots would go deep, and down each layer it found more food. This year it must be at least ten feet tall, for a miniature peach tree.
