So last night my wife shows me a post on facebook. A guy posted pics of his injuries with a long story about how he was always safe but his vape blew up on him. He was warning people of the dangers of vaping. No pics of the mod, just him. A few hours later, after several requests, he posts pics of the mod and wouldn't you know, it was a mech mod with an rda. Some people were rather cruel, but a lot of folks called him out on his statements, telling him how he was using an improper build for that to happen. I swear people need to quit all the negative crap against vaping.

Morning everyone...
My theory is that the Holidays take alot out of some of us...all that socializing when you,re prob not really even in a socializing mood. Now it's time to get back in balance...give back to you ...And that's ok
(flipping my shingle with the 5cents on it over now )

At W for a bit now. Not too bad so far.

@KatzWh1skers I tend to agree. Especially anymore with having to cram so much into such a short period of time. It can easily be exhausting. Both physically and especially mentally.

I have another very good friend and she has depression and it is getting worse since the holidays. It really hit her Jan 2nd and she's been struggling for two weeks.

Thanks @KatzWh1skers I appreciate that. She's such an amazing person it kills me to see her not even want to get out of bed. I wish there was more I could do. :-(

I think I'm going to have a little lunch. It's kinda nice outside here today. I think I could use the air myself. Catch ya later! :)

Lots to discuss on today and will go back to remember what I was going to say as I read it at lunch. But what we did today, pull the service wire for the strip mall. Imagine the width of the wire is like your index and middle together in width. Four wires for every pull and two at 140' plus. Heavy work all day. Take spools remove them from pallets, lift place on trailer, get to sit get off trailer, then add four spools onto a 2" pipe. Lift pipe onto runners, then pull the wire through. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat. I do not have to work out much after w, my job is a workout.

And those not on a spool, man handle all the way. and pull push with no aid of the pipe and the runners, lifting it over your shoulder or if close to the push site over your head for a better angle. Time to chill big time.

Thanks @KatzWh1skers I find the hardest part not knowing exactly what to say when she gets down on herself. It hurts but telling her she's better than she thinks she is, etc just upsets her. It feels like a fine line.

@tiggerrts It looks like you've earned a break! Kick back and enjoy the evening!

Down to two hours in my W day. All cleaned up and killing time. At least I have coffee.

Hope everyone has a nice evening. Catch ya later!

I think Katz and SLM have it right in a way on this one. We as humans want to socialize, we do not usually want to be alone. That being said there is a "Man cave." and Woman well at least in this house of a wife, four daughters, two female fishes, a female bird and female cats; I got used to the idea that I was outnumbered and embraced the female side a long time ago...... anyway getting off topic.

Woman will go away to a bedroom or to take a nice warm hot bath and relax away from everyone else. So though we are geared to be social, we are also on both sides geared to steer away for some alone time. What the holidays used to be was much simpler. Remember those curly hard candies, the ones that really did not taste good but the nostalgia of it was the good thing?

No longer today, the keeping up with the Jonses, (eh spelling) have to get that new gadget or the in vogue gift, which we see year after year people fighting over and actually trampling and punching or worse. So it went from a more simple watch the Charley Brown Christmas and the old Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and the snowman show, to this commercial society. And for what cars were built to last back in the day and all other things.

So not only does the light being less visible, the sun, for longer periods of time; as we watch the TV (I do not anymore) you "feel" guilty because you could not buy your children that gift. But wait, those Hollywood stars and actors, actresses who are paid to show off the newest car and things are living in their own bubble. Acting like they know how the average person really lives, and struggles through, I am sure they have many who tend to their cooking and washing, cleaning.

Simple many times is better, and why pay so much for a toy that they will play with for two days and then abandon? Better is to find what the child really likes and usually that is some type of art, whether drawing with pencil or chalk, other means. Reading, and writing materials. That is the art being lost in this world. Had more to say but can not remember it, but the gist is there.

It must be something in the air...there is so many people feeling that way lately....and it isn't all because of some medication......
Took me a while to find it..... Okay so this is a fairly small city, water is something that is recycled, in bigger cities I am sure they do more. Okay not trying to be graphic or vulgar in any way, but humans are humans both female and male.

So the water is treated from sewage and purified to be taken back again as drinking water..... One problem, the filters are not good enough to take out medication. So a male feels bad takes medications and goes to the restroom, later you drink it and the female body responds badly to it. On the other side the same thing. For every prescription that you can hear on the radio or see on TV, with all those bad side effects, you are drinking it.

I know that does not sound good, but in todays society it is the truth unless where you live close to the coast with a lot of rain and fresh water; those prescriptions are not being filtered. So woman are being induced to male hormones and males are being induced to female hormones, via "medicine" and all mind altering medications.

How do you think it effects people? Think about it, and no the store bought water is no better, worked there; and actually could say more on that topic, but I digress.

So Mandi is not doing well or Dale, wonder why; we are all drinking the prescriptions of everyone in our city and surrounding areas now. So more than you think Blue, yes go to the hospital and get even just two and make a Molotov cocktail of prescriptions without even knowing it.

1/17 - 5: Slight update on BIL, still on a medicated induced coma, but hear he is breathing on his own now. Sister trying to find the best Dr's in the area as two in Dallas have not so good Google history and one is maybe better across the street. So hoping breathing on his own is a good sign of not passing, though learned much through Carrie Fisher. Stable means only not moving in either direction, you can be stable in safe conditions, and stable in critical condition; neither means improvement. Tx Tech grad made a post on Carrie Fisher waking me up to this. Another fly bye by Angel, well at least Katz has come back and Dale......:tumble:
