1/25 - 1: Mornin all, slept from 9 until 4 all the way through, waited on the alarm and just as it was going off, made me jump as I was just going back under. Think w had a lot to do with it, was a lot of manual labor and 50 mph constant winds. No tumbling tumbleweeds, flying tumbleweeds and the birds did not even get out. Wonder what birds do when they stay home? Sorry did not answer slm, the back was still a little tender, and made it hard when we were shoveling about 200 feet of cement down a thin ditch as the concrete driver would not hop the curb and get closer so we could just walk it in. More of the same all week, it has been a long time since I perspired like that.
Never seems to fail, during the w days you could stay in bed and relax or sleep more, come the weekend when you finally can somehow just wake up as if there is a ton to do....

Good morning Treefam......getting ready to leave for the day....the worst thing about this job is you never know how late you will be there......it all depends on how many people show up.....got a thermos of hot cocoa.....it's cold and raining here...

Well just about ready.....I had to make a lunch last night....not doing a grocery store today....I hope it's only a 9 hour day.....but we will see....I think I know the building this is in and it's huge....but I will know for sure when I get there.....

Still trying to figure out what happened to me. I used to be able to get up and go bright and early on only a couple of hours of sleep. These days I am lucky to function on anything less than 8. Dang i wish i could get some of that old energy back.

...it,s called parenthood,Dale....hang in there...it,s been pretty tuff on you and the Mrs....so many illnesses and injuries...

Post lunch check in here. Kinda ate on the run today. Just about an hour and a half until the first of 8 is done. If I don't quit counting down it's gonna seem like forever, LOL!

How old do kids gotta get before they listen to their parents? Wife had the kid send out 2 packages - 1 for his brother and 1 for me. He sent both to his brother. Guess he needs another smack upside the head.

1/25 - 2: Ah yes I remember those days Dale, staying up until two or three in the morning with your significant other. Waking only three hours later and making it through the day with no problem. What I hear when you get real old, you can do it again off four hours..... so something to look forward to.
