I would be tempted if I lived closer.....(and it wasn't in the desert)........I am sure it would be a blast....but alas I will be here with the pride going on this week/weekend so it's going to be heavy traffic around these parts....

you have a corded phone

IMO - An Absolute Must Have - even if Ya got a cell phone . . . Especially in any area prone to extreme weather, emergencies, and/or power failures all the time . . . As I think I mentioned another time, last major hurricane, there were people who had No Cell Phone service, nor any Landline service (especially those people that have only a cordless phone/VOIP in their home) and some had neither for quite sometime . . . That is why I have an older corded phone (works very well when just the phone line is pulled in) stored in with "My" Hurricane supplies . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

See You Later . . .

I have a corded phone at home. Our cell reception is spotty at best at home, and I got tired of losing the cordless handset.

As for cloud comps in vape shops vs. at the show? I imagine after the vape Blast at Vape Blast a couple years ago, it's a liability issue.

I stayed home today... feeling a little puky and a little guilty... vapemail is "out for delivery" though, so that should make things all better...

1. Been a busy day here again today...gee it's like they actually expect me to do work here!:p

On the phone/landline thing, most everyone around here got rid of their landlines after Katrina because the only thing that worked for almost half a year were cell phones...the actual landlines got destroyed in the hurricane and it took them up to 6 months or even longer in some places to get everyone restored...most people didn't want to wait and just canceled theirs. I haven't had a landline in 10 years!

No landlines needed here....if there were such an emergency(like Mt.St. Helen's) I know everything would be out of order anyway.....
Well Treefam...it's about that time.....I really do have something to do today.....so have a great day & I will check back in later on.....

Don't feel guilty...feel better. ;)

They had Cloud Comps last year, but we missed them. This year, we were determined to attend them mainly for the vape tricks. The producers of the event didn’t mention anything about liability. They just said, “Cloud comps are not what we’re about”. i.e. They are more about education and advocacy.

We’ll be drinking, so we won’t be driving to local vape shops. Reno doesn’t have Uber, otherwise we might have taken it to see cloud comps. Doubt I’ll want to cab to and from hotel for them.

With the inclement weather and this announcement, I’m feeling a little deflated about the whole trip. However, it’s still a chance for me and my GF to get away and my last hurrah before I really have to hunker down at work.

I don't suppose any of the vape shops will be within walking distance of the hotel? Wishful thinking, I suppose....
No such luck.

My new-to-me MVP 3.0 arrived a day early! :D It's blue, my favorite color.
Funny, how my mood has improved. ;)

Choke Cherries at Love Acres
Fuzzy
We used to go down to the river an pick choke cherries. My mom would make gallons of jelly. Good memories... thanks.

No choke cherries here, but we've got an elderberry that's taken the choke cherries' place... huge...

1. Just a quick drive by. My internet is being extremely slow today, took 30 mins just to read from where I left off here last night. Ugh. I'm trying to do a big project online today too and I don't think I'm going to get even a fraction of what I had planned to get done today.

What we save in utilities and stuff, we make up for in rent, groceries, and other stuff. Food costs are really high here. Housing is high since we are right on the border of MS/TN and Memphis is right over the border. They jack up rent and prices at stores to keep the Memphis thugs out of town.

Yay for new toys! I'm thinking about picking up a friend for my MVP 3--but I'm waiting to see if the prices of the Pro version come down a little--although I don't really need the extra wattage, the extra mah might be nice.

Time for me to wash up and run around for a few hours...

PIF to @KatzWh1skers

Good afternoon folks, I hope everyone's doing good, just checking in. :)
Almost lunch/dinner time for me, haven't been eating like I use to when I was smoking despite taking in less nicotine, still haven't figured out why. An extra pound shed here or there I won't complain about though.
