The center of the phoon is staying away but we're getting stronger winds than what they had predicted. Had to strap a few things down when I got home.

Now they're saying the winds are going to be even stronger - 60-80 mph. They just closed the bases. Why do these things usually come at night? Would rather have them in the daytime during the week so I could get off work.

Uncle - Very funny! Last year, I only bought one thing. A nautilus tank because they were practically giving them away! I'm more frugal while shopping in person, than online. (I should explore that further at a later date.) This year, I've got my eye out for one device. I've done my homework. If it's a good deal, then yes, I will buy one new shiny.

Sigh. I have to go to the DMV to get my driver's license renewed. I forgot to deal with it earlier and now it will expire in less than a week. I guess I'll spend the day standing in line.
