We're having an after dark in the park open house tonight that will be lasting until 10 p.m.
I snuck home about 330 to check the mail and when I found the KUI and Nuppin there, I stayed long enough to build it.
Now I'm ready to face the late night...

Almost evening here,Tree fam....I hear rolling thunder outside..no rain yet today...just thunder ..and the neighbor boy repeatedly pumping up his bb gun...ALL KITTIES INSIDE ...NOW!
@bellastarr ..I'm glad you got the ball rolling...things have streamlined ALOT in only the past few years...used to be it was tough even trying to get the banks on your side..Still a nightmare..but hopefully soon in your rearview mirror.
YES...this is getting WAY TOO commonplace now!! When HOW many peeps (hold up your lil limbs) have gone thru the same hell?! So how can a body protect themselves? AND still use credit!?!
...you're bringin back long ago Oki memories,mac ...wading thru water up past my knees to make sure the drain covers were cleared off..I have pics somewhere of those typhoon tips..and the damage they do..uprooting trees,etc ...place looked like a tornado touched down...same thing,right?..cept it comes in off the ocean.
I got a lil story about one of those tips (Katz ALWAYS haz a story
) I woke up with a disturbing feeling one morn during a typhoon tip...all the lines were down...storm was in full swing outside...so I did what any kid would do when they "get the call" from Mom...I went to the MARS and had them "dial in" Mom...over ...It wasn't anything bad...but Ma was sure surprised to hear from me ...a HAM in Boise, I think, patched us in all the way from Oki! Made me forever grateful to the guys and gals manning the airwaves on the homefront....over and out

Got most of my bills paid. Going to go find some odd jobs to do in hopes of paying off the rest

Power went out earlier this afternoon for several hours and of course my phone was at about 10%, so I'm just now getting on the forums. It was a hot one here in AR, I hope it's cooler where you are. Not a whole lot going on with me, just fiddling with the new RDA and enjoying some new juice a friend sent me. I've gotta go back a few pages and see what kind of shenanigans you all have been up to, I hope nothing I wouldn't do.

Went to the bank and got a new card. It will work as a debit card right now, to use it without the PIN # won't work until Tuesday they said. At least I can go to the grocery store and places like that.
A twitter friend posted that 2 of his cards got hit too. He got hit for $200 & $900, but they were credit cards so he stopped it. He said he only used those cards for vape shopping. Thank goodness they didn't hit mine for that much. I'd had had a stroke..lol.

The are two ways I know can get around fraudulent charges and using a "Normal" credit card . . . 1) Go to "Your" bank, explain that Ya' wanna open a secondary account for "Shopping" with a Visa/MC backed debit card that "You" can transfer money into and only put a limited amount of money in the account . . .
OR - 2) There are a number of reloadable Debit/"Credit" cards available via WallyWorld/Kmart/etc. (Besides Visa/MC they even have an American Express available too) that you can put money into and reload for free or a very nominal fee . . . The best thing about these is not only is there a limited amount of money available, but if there is a fraudulent charge "You" still can even get the "Card" people involved as long it doesn't happen to often . . . Just Sayin' . . . Okay - It's that time again . . .

The burger place was packed (45-60 minute wait for a table), so we went to a pizza place instead. I ended up bringing home half of the giant sausage-onion-mushroom calzone that I ordered... and I'm stuffed. Time to become one with the couch. Good night, Treefam!
