Jay goes out of his way for everyone. He is a good guy.Im sure it was not done to you on purpose and it was human error. That happens sometimes. We forget things when we are busy and trying to please everyone.Im sorry it was you that had the issue. Not to give excuses but Jays wifes grandfather died and he just found out his wife is pregnant.I hope you get your GLV soon.

DrJ,
I hope your feel better having expressed yourself. Sending the misshipped package to the intended recipient was a noble and good deed. Throwing a tamtrum on the forum, in my opinion was not, unless it gave you enough relief to feel better.

Life always presents us with challenges. How we respond to the challenges defines our character and integrity. Jay has proven to us his character and integrity over and over and over again. However, Jay is human, as we all are, and mistakes happen.

Try relaxing a little bit and I assure you life will get easier. Keeping your full head of steam going will produce more of the same.

Tantrum?

Where's the tantrum?

All I see is one very disillusioned do-gooder poster stating his incredibly lousy experience with a vendor who lied to him.

TBH...if this were me and the vendor had more than one chance to make it right and over 4 weeks later, still hasn't, while lying in the process, I would have reported him to an ECF moderator and I would also have posted the ongoings in the Supplier Review Forum to make more folks aware of this debacle.

Thats totally uncalled for,It states clearly on the site that it can take up to 4 weeks to recieve your GLV.I admit, the op has a right to feel upset because of what happened but your remark is totally uncalled for.Why would anyone choose to create all that drama and trouble?Would it help the situation at all?I think the person just wants the GLV and wants to know whats going on.Its a shame when someone writes a comment that doesnt help at all and just tries to stir up hate and discontent, very sad indeed.OP,I hope you get squared away, the phone # is in a thread in this forum and Jay doesnt mind if you use it.Im sure this will be handled shortly.

"Custom colors and pre-orders can take up to two weeks for delivery." - GLV website

interesting also that sheerluckholmes began the derogatory/inflamatory comments, firhill defended my post without any inaccuracy or untruth and keyzygirl is chastizing firhill! is today backwards day?
Everyone gets your frustration (I'm in the same boat right now). All we're saying is there might be a better way to go about getting it resolved...

IMO...since it's quite apparent he's gonna get nothing from this thread other than fanboy/girl..izm, I PM'ed the OP and suggested he re-post in the supplier review thread where he may find a more "neutral" response to the issue.

I have no dog in this fight but potential buyers have a right to know.

I'd also love to know what remark is uncalled for?

If there is one, by all means...report it and the mods will take care of it in an appropriate manner.

i'm posting a series of emails between me and Great Lakes Vapor following up on an order i placed on August 13th... WTF??

Trust me DrJ Jay will make it right, He is a good guy. If you had any etching or custom done it could take up to 3 week. Like it did mine. But so far jay has been spot on. I do get your frustration though having to do a good deed (not that you had to you could have just sent it back to Jay) So as a fan of GLV I thank you for that!!!
If he said he would send it OVERNIGHT then he will. I know that is a cost I would not take lightly. I did not see anything in your remarks that were mean or nasty. so that is just venting, Hell man I do that all the time.
But just be assured that when you get that in your hand all things will pass.
Thanks for keeping it WITHOUT nastiness!!!

Hey DrJ, I am with you on this, yes everyone does make mistakes; however a honest bussines person does not LIE. If these folks that are taking up for him were in your shoes then they would be mad as well. In his post he lied two times, he says the package is not ready; however he ask for a address so he can overnite it........hmmmmmmmmmm... that doesn't make any sense. So goodluck hope you get your stuff

i think it actually says that the package IS ready... i misread that at first too. i really don't consider it lying (i'm sure he intended to put it in the mail sept 8th), but i'm irritated because i feel like he's dangling a carrot in my face! i don't want to be teased... i just want what i ordered. i'm pretty certain i'm gonna love the glv2 mini... just WHEN i'm gonna love it is the big question???

interesting choice of words... not sure what a tamtrum is, but if you meant tantrum i would have to disagree with your perception of my post. i posted verbatim the emails between me and great lakes vapor (i even indicated a misstatement on my part in one of the emails, indicated in red). i posted for two reasons: 1) to provide information to other vapers, and 2) to provide a reminder to great lakes vapor that is difficult to ignore... to put my order in the mail!

now about that relaxing... i took your advice! i'm sitting here with a cup of coffee and my PURESMOKER ICON relaxing and reading mind-numbingly idiotic posts on ecf

thanks! :)

Okay I'm sorry for the late reply to this , I have been very busy trying to catch up for the 3 days I lost. I don't lie . I may from time to time underestimate how long it it takes to get things out, or miss some thing on the invoice , but I don't lie. You have every right to be upset DRJ but you could have just gave me a call. And If you did and I don't remember..sorry. I never delete a thread but I will close it down if you get out of hand.

Having said that, the OP is correct he did get the wrong package, and his was lost in the mail. It returned to me on or around the same day the we had a death in the family, and every thing went crazy at my house for about 3 days so yeah I did forget to send it out ..witch is why I said that I would over night it to you, and I asked you to give me your address so i could have it in a couple places..helps me remember. I agree with the OP ...4 weeks is a long time, and am Very Sorry for your bad experience with me .
I am up to my ears in orders and even one day behind gets me in trouble. I would never leave a customer out in the cold or take their money and not make sure they got a working GLV. I care about every GLV that leaves this place , and every customer that buys one ...just ask any customer that has spoke with me.

I am willing to offer you a refund , or a 2nd GLV for your trouble...up to you. I do however think you could just skipped the the whole ECF post and ranted at me over the phone. LIke I said ...I am truly sorry for all of this , and only want to make it right.
