just got the goblin mini yesterday and it was working fine until now it is constantly leaking. im running it on an evic vt, duel coil at about 0.34-42 ohms ( not sure why but it constantly is going up and down when i add juice and deplete juice.

the screw to fill it very tight so it is leaking out from the bottom air flow. i was wondering why? i am HIGHLY assuming it's because i over packed my coils with cotton as it was hard just to stuff the cotton into the juice wells. it vaped fine for a while not sure why it would only leak now. i will be changing the wick tomorrow but just wondering if this is the cause.

i was also wondering if it is safe to wash my deck? for some reason i can't remove the juice from the fill hole so i need to take apart everything and then it gets juice all over. i am ONLY going to rewick coils seem fine other then that maybe check the post screws and tight them up a little.

It's a wicking issue. You either don't have enough cotton in the juice channels causing it to flood or the wick has a bit of an overhang touching the rim of the airflow causing the juice to draw into the wick and run down into the airflow.

I only run mine in single coil mode. The Half Moon piece just snaps into place covering the second airflow slot. Wick with Muji and away you go. There seems to be much debate about wicking these the "correct" way out on the net, for me, I just cut my wicks so they sit on the deck above the juice channels, having fluffed the wicks up. No leaks. BUT... be aware that these are prone to condensation building up on the bottom of the deck, this has caused many to assume leaks.

The GMini is one of my favorite tanks. I have never had mine leak a drop.

Here is how I wick mine.

Cotton. You want the cotton tight in the coil(s) but still loose enough to slide in the coil. When the wick(s) are saturated with juice the cotton will expand and fill the coil(s) perfectly.

I leave the tails long so the tails reach the bottom of the juice wells.

Now there will be vapor fall into the mod through the airflow but this is not leaking. I reduced this small amount of vapor falling on the mod by releasing the firing button about 1/2 a second before finishing my inhale. This removes as much vapor from the chimney as possible.

Anyone have experience doing a single coil on the Mini or have a link? Does the silicone work, what is the half-moon metal piece? I assume I was supposed to get a paper set of directions, but I didn't.

Thanks!

The silicone plug works for me like a champ. Have been rocking mine in single coil mode since the day I got it. And I'm using a cheap clone that probably came from fasttech.

The half-moon piece sits in the top of the silicone piece. They should be considered one piece. Yours has just come apart. Do a Google image search for "Goblin Mini single coil" and the 4th image that comes up illustrates it well.

It works surprisingly well. I prefer the Goblin Mini in single coil mode.

I put the silicone plug in and the metal "half-moon on top of it. I just saw holes in the top and thought to ask.

Anyway, vapin' like a champ.

Thanks!
Welcome brother.

I only used the silicone plug without the plastic cresent. Mine stays where it belongs with no problem.

I left the silver cresent out so I can install a new coil without taking it out at all.
