I dont really want to quit vaping, but the other day I decided to try to see if I could.

Day 1: felt weird not leaving the house with my supplies bag. I wasn't quite sure what to do with my hands while driving (usually have a PV in one if them). I had some cravings, but none very severe. More like a feeling I am missing something. The hardest part was when I got home and had access to my stuff. Not that I needed it, but wanted it.

Day 2: easier time in the car today. Listened to the radio to help not think about it. Here at work and just had a little craving, but went away quickly.

So far quitting vaping is tremendously easier than quiting smoking. I have been vaping 24mg but I think my dependence on nicotine may be not near as strong as I thought.

I am going to try to go for a week. I like vaping so I will keep doing it, but it will be nice to know if I can put it down easily.

I have to agree, not vaping is much easier than I thought it would be. I've gone a day without it just to see how it would go and I didn't have the cravings like I did when I tried the same thing when smoking. I truly feel that I could quit vaping all together at any time and do so with success. I don't think vaping is anywhere near as addictive as tobacco.

Good luck. I can handle 3-4 hours if i have zero nic juice but, that's it. I lose it big time - total grump with a temper to rival a rabid pit bull, or so my partners claim. Yeah, I guess throwing a dinner plate through the window because the spag. sauce tasted slightly burnt is a bad temper. Not even trying to quit the nic, i lost the analogs, good enough.

Hey fray, why don't you just quit for good if you make a week? Especially if it's coming easy for you. That's where I'm hoping to be in the next month or two. I would think after a couple weeks without it you probably wouldn't even miss it. Good luck either way.

A few months ago I came back from a trip to Mexico with a little bit of Montezuma's Revenge.

I had my battery charger packed in the luggage and for two days I just didn't have enough motiviation to go unpack it.
So I went two whole days without vaping, and never really needed it enough to do anything about it.

I like it. I can go weeks without a beer too, but I like to drink sometimes.

I don't see vaping as a nasty filthy habit like I did with smoking. It makes me happy. Even happier that I don't NEED it.

Good on ya fray. I've cut my nic level back a little every 3 or 4 months since I started vaping and hit zero nic about 6 weeks ago without any issues whatsoever. Now I know I'm not addicted to even vaping. I'll never quit though, my double chocolate caramel juice is just too dang tasty. Besides, I like the act of blowing out clouds. It confuses my cats. :)
