First the good news: That blueberry juice is awesome. Love it!

But the bad news: The Protege mechanical switches I've been waiting and waiting for -- I got two of them in today's mail and neither one works. I know I installed them properly.

I just shot a ticket to Puresmoker and I'm sure they'll make things right.

I think I'm going to hold off buying anything "new" from now on. Products that are hot off the assembly line always seem to have issues. After having such bad luck with the tact switches in both my Prodigy and Protege, I had such hope for these mechanical switches. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the mechanical switches being made for the Prodigy V1 will have any bugs worked out before they're distributed to customers. There's a lot to be said for product testing and quality control. No need to rush -- good things are worth waiting for.

Oddgirl, I am in the same situation. Both my switches are pretty useless. I put in a ticket for one that I deemed a short one. The second one works barely. I did all the suggested voodoo to get the fractionally longer one to work on occasional presses. I gave up and reinstalled the tact switch. My thumbs and knuckles were bleeding.

I am thrilled with my Proteges and Prodigy, but I did not drink the Kool-Aid. The switches are not my best purchase. I am not wetting my shorts with delight over them.

I have the same problem. Mine is hit & miss thing. The miss thing always happen at the wrong time and it's so frustrated!
I've sent PS ticket for them to work this out for me.
And yes, i press/pinch almost as hard as i can, even using my nail!!
Mine copper O-ring just drop off from the plastic piece if i hold it up.....hmmmm....made in USA quality.:nah:

:) Atleast the part doesn't need to be shipped to/from China to get replaced or fixed!
That's a relief to know Steve!! :)
But surprisingly all my made in china stuff that i own for years at work or home, works the very first time. :D :)

we try our best nizee, and that is all we can do. We can get a longer switch sent out to you first thing Monday morning.

I think it's better that i send my Protege to you for you to make it right. Now, my copper part that hold the 510 atomizer become so loose at the adapter. Let me know if this is possible.
I got another back-up Protege with tact switch to use in the mean-time.
