Most of these mAh numbers we see are pure fantasy. You cannot cheat physics. All batteries of a similar size have an actual real mAh that is similar. To further compund the problem - when you move to a battery that is e.g. 300 mAh from a battery that is 600mAh you don't just lose half the runtime you also lose about half of the maximum available current draw(C).

Pretty sure the duracell is a primary cell (not rechargeable). Curious about the Stars. A lot of vendor claims are waaay off from reality.

I've been reading quite a bit about batteries in flashlight mod forums. Basically, the cheaper ones are exploding when they mod them into lasers. Go figure. These are supposed to be some of the best, as suggested by the flashlight modders:

Oh, another thing they say is that many Chinese "protected" cells, don't even have a protection circuit on them. Hence, BOOM!

Those look good but i would it work? kinda iffy due to the lower voltage of the battery but i could be wrong

I bought the same ones (blue top)...
They never worked right in my mods... Reo,omega... Seems the protection circuit on them would kick in. Maybe get a two second draw and then nothing batts just shut off.
On the other hand i bought a flashlight to use them... Almost have to wear a welders mask when i use it... Lol

That's what I did with my yellow tops. I bought a flashlight to put them since I was using the blue tops for my mod. lol
