IAM SOOO CONFUSED, one link says pick two numbers from 1600 t0 2000, the other link gives me Lettered numbers, pick two, "who knows which is which and who is who"
so I can't find the number board with the 1600+ so. I keep pushing buttons and now I can't find my PV, lawd what do I do?

It's got a tiny rattle! I've never seen one this big with so few rattles.

It's now resting peacefully in the very back of the freezer. I can honestly say that was the easiest thing I have ever cleaned. Used scissors, cut right down the middle and viola... cleaned, rinsed and done!

Coontail Rattler, Buttons been broke off. At 5ft he is an older snake.

My big ??? is how did ya get close enough to kill the thing, that is a good size snakey and I bet it had a good size strike Zone

My .357 has a little longer strike zone He almost got me first though. I was watering my tomatoes and he was only about 5' from me. I didn't notice him until the dogs bolted off the back porch towards me/him. The garden is fenced (to keep the dogs out) and he was just inside the fence...with me. I saw the dogs, then looked down and saw him as he was diverting his attention from me to the dogs. He struck my rottie through the fence, it's large opening field fencing. Caught her just on the bridge of the nose. She has a small cut and I cleaned off venom that was on her fur. I think between the barrier of the fence and her quick jump back he didn't inject anything. Called the vet and they said to keep an eye on the area for and if it starts swelling to bring her in. She has had a rattlesnake shot.

Mental note.....stop wearing flip flops in the garden!

Can't believe I'm about to do this. I've cleaned fish, deer even hog, but never a snake. First time for everything!! How would you suggest it be made? I've had snake nuggets, mmmm tasty!! He said he would bbq it and tan the hide for me It only has 3 rattles, but the sucker is darn near 5' He was rattling, but he wasn't loud at all.

Rattlesnake / Southern Style

egg
salt
garlic salt
oil (frying)
accent seasoning

5/8 cup milk
pepper
flour
1 rattlesnake

Cut in 4 inch lengths, beat egg and milk, mix salt, pepper, garlic salt, Accent and flour, preheat deep fat fryer with cooking oil, dip snake into egg mixture and then in flour mixture, and place it in hot oil, cook until golden brown.

I have used this recipe. It is pretty good....
