Totally agree with the buttermilk over the milk, but I'll stick with more corn meal than flour and I'll dunk catfish and okra in it!!!! Not snakes!! lol

My girl is 13 and about 80lbs. She isn't full blood, has some hound in her. It shows, she's a lazy ...., lol. I'm very lucky they were outside. Had they not been....really between the cicada singing and the water hose, I don't think I would have heard him at all. This isn't the first run in with a snake she has had in her lifetime. I have found more dead than I have had to take care of. She has been bit twice, both times above the neck and came through with flying colors.



Now that sounds absolutely yummy! Real close to what I use for back strap. I add in a little garlic



She is perfectly fine. The little cut had enough blood to spot the wet rag a few times and it hasn't had any signs of swelling. Vet said I should know if it was going to do something in the first few hours, but keep a close eye for 12-24. Pretty sure she is in the clear

I am so glad you and pooches are ok! I would be terrified!

Snakes I have no problems with and if they're not poisonous I'll happily handle them. Now, anything with more legs than a cat causes the aforementioned reaction outta me. Especially if it's one of the big, woodspiders we get out here. *shuder*

So sorry bout the heartburn Kelley. I have a ton of it from a hiatel hernia and reflux. I use something I get from Sam's called Ranitidine. Super cheap at Sams. Two 95 ct bottles for 8 something I think. Since I can't be on Rx for it right now, this works pretty good. Also helps my son when he just has a sour stomach.

Some weeds are gorgeous! Some onions look like weeds to an 8 year old who's dad has told her to go pull up the weeds. I thought it was nice of em to grow all in a row like that for me.

Well this ought to be fun, my nephew wants to move into the house I moved out of so I need to run and fix the AC.
The blower wheel went out just B4 we moved out so I'll be limping up the latter and removing the whole blower housing to replace the blower wheel (I call it the squirrel cage)

A elderly friend's sister is still in his house (5 years now) rent free won't leave. Old man in a RV in his own yard. House needing a ton of work. Wish I was up there there for him...

Not always, I have a problem with Brown Recluse spiders in the crawlspace under my house!!
Occasionally one will find it's way inside!!
