If I am correct....and I think I am ...a flash game starts immediately and puts the current game on hold....its usually a special prize with a short game.

A Mini game is played on a smaller board and is quicker to complete. Also if you win a mini game you can still play in the next big one...however if you win a big game you have to wait a week to play again.

Think that covers it...questions are good

where in Mass are you? I am in Tolland, Connecticut

I might add that a 'mini' game or 'flash' game may also be referred to as a 'snack' game my precious Yimmie!....smooch!
In any case our lovely helpers will print upon the round sheets whether or not that game will effect you ability to play a following larger 'big' game.
