If ya just want one personal family cow, a sweet ones is the Jersey. or a Guernsey. They are pretty mellow (from all my past experiences with that kind anyways) and like to follow you around and be your friend too. But BEWARES....come the same time eberyday they WILL LET YOU KNOW IT'S TIME TO MILK IT !! dey don't like human alarm clocks so they yell at cha iffin you late fer dem and be prepared to be over run with milk iffin ya don't use alot of it. 2 times a day milking can make ALOT of milk !!!

Jersey is a cute cow, but alas no way I can keep one here even if I'm surrounded by hicks, city wont like it... I doubt an acre is enough for one cow with all these trees...

Yeah dats a bummer. Most places habe ta be zoned agraculturals to habe livestocks anyways. And you is correct an acre of woodland is not what da Jersey cows like ta eat and roam round on
