An update a while back let you put in both bedtime and sleep time, so thats what the blue is. Some days I love technology, this is soooo much easier than the old sleep diaries I used to try to keep by hand.

You have that right! Although last year I don't think even dayummmn hot fit the bill. We broke so many records, it was crazy!! Soooo glad this year was not a repeat!

Can I "like" that x about a trillion!!!! omggggggg last year was horrible! And so many fires. At one point there was a fire in every direction around me, at least one was really close, just a few miles. Probably you had about the same thing goin on. Yeah, the hottest june, july, august on record anywhere in the US since they started keepin records.

Well, I live in gulf coast texas so we have all four seasons, hot&wet, hot&dry, hot&hotter and deer season which translates into wet&cold.

Tigers and dolphins are my fav. Been meaning to show Thren, but Deb brought up your tiger.

This is Raja, she is sooooo sweet. I got to feed her today, well, I wasn't the one doing the actual feeding, but I was standing next to the one who was and I handed off the chicken. It counts! :D

Yeah, the Bastrop Complex fire was in my backyard, literally. Had to stay evacuated for almost 2 weeks. Didn't loose the house, but lost most of the vegetation on the property. We were renting and the homeowner decided to sell. We didn't want to buy it (too much to fix the house), so we moved. Still in the same area.

Wow, glad you stayed safe and didn't have an enormous financial loss. It was hard to follow online since I don't have TV but I know that one was bad.

You can call me Hib, I don't mind. Real name is Cyndi, you can call me that too if ya want :) TV was a joke during the fire. I found a facebook group that I was getting more information from than anywhere. We had no idea where the fire was, only knew we had to be out. If we had to rely on the news I would have really been a basket case! I have a friend in Cove, I know she had a fire not far from her. Of course the base always has fires, lol. Have another friend who is in the Killeen FD.

I am just thankful this summer has been cooler than last...the water in the pool (my daily hangout) is not like a hot bath.

Nothing like jumping in a 90 degree pool in 110 weather, huh? blech!

Hibiscuits...glad you came thru as well as you did..i have several friends that lost everything. Such a horrible summer

So, sorry about your friends :( We were very lucky, the fire line was literally 100ft from the house. We turned on the sprinklers when we left. Fire never made it to the sprinklers reach, so not sure if that would have made a difference or not. Drove out there a few weeks ago, it's riddled with blackened tree trunks, but quite green otherwise. The pines won't be the same in our lifetime, but one day it will :)

lol erin. I'd wondered what part you considered to be the arm pit. I'm guessin houston-ish area rather than corpus? I lived in Galveston for years. Loved the island for what it could have been, all the history etc, but man it was nasty in a lot of places.

Oh lord, none of those places are pittish enough. I live in beaumont. You could just as easily call it the crotch, but that seems to bother people.
