I feel for all the parents wiff dat back to school dealyI saw on the news where there's a charter type school here that made all the parents buy IPads for the kids attending this year. They are using them instead of textbooks
but then at the end of the news clip they said that they adjusted the tuitions for the amount of the ipads. But still !
The high school here issues iPads. The middle school was voting on it last year, but I'm not sure what the outcome of the vote was. They will be issued though, thankfully!! Just getting 4 of them in school is bad enough, no way am I forking out $$ for iPads, too! 8-o At least that school is doing an offset of tuition. Gone are the days of notebook paper, pencils and the smell of musty text books......
