We *did* have a chance of rain today, not so anymore The weekend looks promising. I've got land behind me too and I'm still fire shy from last year. Coming up on the 1 yr anniversary of the big fire, hoping it remains an uneventful summer!!

No kidding! I caught a few sprinkles yesterday during my dash from one school to the other for meet the teacher night, but that was about it. Just enough to make the dust on my Tahoe look spotted

Just as an aside, it's been sunny nice and in the mid-high 70's here for a couple weeks. We've gotten a couple of rainy days. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen the grass this green in mid-August. It's usually dormant and burnt up by now. Strange weather all over this year.

Aggie That map is more than a week out. Chances are it won't go anywhere near you. I live in Hurricane zone also, and rarely are the forecasts correct that many days ahead of time.
