Here is a little tip using aluminum foil to reinsert the wicks into the splitfire tt tank system

That be some smart thinking for sure. If I ever get one of these, I'll keep the tin foil advice in mind. I dig it.

once you do it a few times it becomes very easy, you know how much foil is needed, youll know how thing you need to press it, then it becomes second nature

Or..you can go to your local Ace Hardware store, grab a $3 tweezer, grind it to a pont, grab the wick end, and shove the wick all the way through the hole...

or........you can cut a length of that kanthal you have for making coils, fold in half and pinch the fold......insert through the hole from the bottom........open the fold enough to catch the ends of the wick in the loop you now have......and pull if you have frayed looking ends, dampen and twist first

If you have a needle threader lying about......works the same way
