DSC_1790.jpgDSC_1790_1.jpgI just cut the slots on the sides with my dremel to make them wider, and just make sure they don't touch the metal, works like a charm ;)

What about those of us without drill presses? :(

You get buy clamps like this at most Home Centers or Hardware stores for about 10 bucks.

BTW - I used one of these and a piece of Dowel Rod earlier today to Press out the guts of a Startdust.

The work for all kinds of Other things also.

Robbie I ordered some of thay mcmastercarr wick, the sheet that came with it says theres a binder chemical that may be burnt off...

I took a mini torch to a segment of wick as I didnt even think this is the right stuff,
Well it did burn the chemical off, but the strain didnt burn up like cotton would... I could take a pic an post if I ever get on my laptop,

So fyi you may want to pre burn your wicking as iam sure that chemical is not good for you to inhale...

It costs like 21$ from mcmascarr super fast shipping, but u SHOULD preburn that crap out

Btw I like your vid reviews robbie, keep them coming

That's where the 'fun' (kinda) comes in. And it's not just about ohms or watts. These are not open air space heaters.

Many other factors come into play when it comes to vaporizing liquid. You can have a 2Ω coil made with very few wraps on a 1mm wick, you could make a 2Ω coil with smaller gauge wire, 2mm of wick and more wraps. Something as simple as spacing of the wraps can have an effect using the same coil.

I don't have pic, but Cisco's 1.5Ω 510 has many more wraps (they tend to fill the cup) than the Joye 1.5Ω 510s. Same ohms/watts, different end result.
