Good feedback. Folks who are new to Ahlusion should also note that Ahlusion creates juices for drippers. They specifically state in their FAQ, that if you are using a tank, to please e-mail them with your vaping set up, so that they can make the flavors stronger for your set-up.

i did not know this! thanks.
i guess i will have to look at them again... so far i don't have anyi juice i like in a dripper

Brett: Which of the VCV flavors did you order? VCV NightShift is awesome-but it require steeping. Fresh its light in color, after a good steeping it gets really dark
I ordered:
Catherine the Grape
White Beard tobacco
Peach Tea
Vanilla Custard
Monkey Business - requested sample

White beard and vanilla custard had a little more flavor than the other 3. Peach tea and grape both tasted like wet socks. I received order 3/3, so it's now been six weeks. Will give them one more fair shot before I write them off.

I initially enjoyed both Genteleman's Reserve and Orchard Reserve. But, a couple of tanks each have changed my mind too. I have the remainder of the 30 ml bottles of each, and then I'm done with Steam Co. too. Just too rough around the edges. Not something I will find myself craving in the future methinks.
Glad I'm not alone, I think many like them. Still can't get the GR smell out of my backpack!

Just started vaping my new juices from VCV. So far:

Vanilla Custard: Seemed very weak in the flavor department, compared to others I have had. I'm going to give it some steep time and check back with it in a few weeks.

Nutty Cookie: My favorite so far. Very close to Alpha Vape's Sweet Tooth to me. I like ST better and will stick with that. Not a reorder for me.

White Beard Tobacco: Reminds me of Halo Voodoo. Better tobacco flavor though. It started to grow on me, as I vaped it. That said... there are a lot of tobaccos out there that I like better. Not a reorder for me.

Melew's Magic: I have always had a tough time with chocolate flavors. I just haven't found what I want in chocolate vapes. This one comes close for me. But, not quite. I just vaped some Tiramisu from Ahlusions and like that better anyway. Not a reorder for me.

Sour Skittles: I got a heavy "perfumy" taste from this of the inhale. I did get the vague taste of sour skittles on the exhale. I'm going to steep this one a few weeks and check back with it.

I haven't tried the Monkey Business yet. I got it as a sample and just haven't gotten to it yet.

You know, now that you're a Reonaut, we never leave a man/woman behind, right?......sniffle.....
Lmao, not only a reonaut, buit a fellow southerner... I should be ashamed:blink:
I got my kamry during a black friday sale, I think from discountvapers, mightve been madvapes. Love that thing too, I use it to sample all my new things with a cheap smoktech dripper. Theres also a dripper from discountvapers I have that I love, it was 3.99... i paid more than that for my last pack of smokes!

No for the same as you are thinking. I just can't afford to spend a lot. I know some not all of you know but I just took a significant paycut. It stings often

Does anyone know if you can put a REO in like a bag or purse, or will it leak? Seems like it would..

I think it sux you had to take a paycut. I haven't had to do that yet but people on our team have forgone raises for years now. Execs still get their bonuses, though. /rant

As Brett already said...if you don't mind waiting on maybe a week steep (TPR) or sometimes up to 3 months steep (AHL). Although steep time is shortened if you get the express line from AHL. I'm going to try AHL again, but I PIFed a lot of the ones i got from them.

I saw lots of kudos for TPR's Burely and Candy, which I agree is good but I prefer their Candied Cavendish. Sooooo good!! If anyone likes GLVs ElKamino and AVEs Boba's , it similar but of course different.

I really want to check a REO out bad but I had no idea it was a mech. Kinda nervous about using an unregulated. And I'm so confused on the different models and what a RM2 is that I heard I must get cuz it's better?? I check the classies a lot but I have no clue what I'm looking at and if it's a decent deal or what have you.

And is squonking hard to do? I got an Aurora tank awhile back...what a PITA!!!!! Flood, flood, dry hit, flood, dry hit. It was a nightmare. I'm just wondering how diff a REO is from a good Dripping atty like byLeo Dripper Pro.
RM2 is an rda made for reos, it allows liquid to flow up through the center pin. I didnt buy an rm2, I payed 20 (instead of 50) for an a7 and drilled a hole in it for my vmod, but it's a perfect fit on my reo. Squonking is not hard, just another one of those things you have to pay attn to while youre doing it at first. After a day or two you get a feel for how to press the bottle w/o havin to remove tip and watch down the hole. I havent flooded this a7 yet, it has a pretty deep well and the coil is placed nicely to not be submerged. Get one, you'll love it:)

Wow I'm surprised! Am I the only one with love for the Steam Co reserves? I picked up another bottle of each a few weeks ago so I wouldn't run out so now I have it in 2 different nic levels too. Has anyone tried the unreleased reserve flavor yet? I haven't tried anything other than the reserves because my JjRr family hasn't spoken very highly of them and I just literally gave away over $100 in unvapable juices. It made me sick to my stomach but only for a minute it all went to vape charity. I now know 3 very down on thier luck vape families. I help as much as I can. I would rather help them vape than break that rolling machine back out because it's cheaper

I haven't crossed Steam off my list. I do still enjoy the two reserves and I enjoy their Budochai. That's about it for them on my list though.

So nobody with a good idea for a cheap summer friendly device?

How about the Itaste VV 3.0? Light, easy to use, reliable and well built. I have several devices, but this one is always the one I pick up when I am on the go.

How long have you had the AHL? If you can make it last, save some Smooth Criminal to try at about six to eight weeks old. ;)

Like 4 days:) I've already gone through 2 reo grand bottles of Apple ww... Doubt I'll know what this one's like steeped until I stock up and wait, lol. I should be vapin up the older stuff, but ahl is just so darned good:) I agree w/ lotusgirl, they are lighter in flavor than tpr, but I wopuldnt call them light in flavor. I could stand it to be a little bolder, but its really good

I've been thinking of trying to supplement with unflavored. Does it really just taste like nothing? My diy sucks so I get frustrated. Probably because I've been trying to do fruits knowing full well I haven't had a lot of luck with premade fruits to begin with

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My DIY sucks too and I can't figure out if it is the ingredients I'm using or if my blending techniques are bad or what. My flavor to base ratio is high. I let them steep for a couple weeks. And mostly I just don't taste anything. I'm using 100% VG and low nic - like 3-4 mg and I'm mixing in wee 10 ml bottles. I'd love to mostly DIY to try to recreate my favorite blends but I don't know what is the "good" DIY source since I can't taste the flavors straight out of the bottle I don't know what I'm getting until later and then wonder was it me? or was it the ingredient? both?

Love this pic and so glad it is a female that has it all and can be talked to in regular language that another female can understand. Sometimes I try to talk to guys about this and all the sudden the language starts getting like WHA WHA what? torqs and twists and wha?

Lmao Chanel, the 1950's called and they want their gender ideologies back... That is such a copout to say that you cant understand something because you're a woman. I've taught women how to drive a stick, shoot, and gave several women on here useful pointers and tutorials on how to rebuild... They had no more trouble than any of the men I've taught to do those things. Dont blame your entire gender for your own inability to understand things. Sheesh, if I was a woman, I'd be heated that another woman was goin around sayin"I cant because I'm a girl", lol

It's my understanding that PG carries flavor, I've been studying the diy thread so I dont mess up a lot of my nic tryin(hopefully)

I don't think that any time we make a general statement about something gender related that it's an outdated ideology. There are differences between men and women. We are built differently and our brains process things in different ways. This is not 100% split down gender lines but is generally true. I don't see anything where Chanel says she can't do anything. It was the way things are explained that makes it easier. When I go read the threads about building that are male dominated, I may know all the words they use but I quickly get lost in the conversation. There is a thread dedicated to women who build and it was much more helpful to me. Same information, presented in a different way.

Accepting these differences and using them to our advantage...such as finding a source that gives me the information I need in a context my brain can easily process... is not something I will ever be ashamed of.

End of my rant, I'm off to find something to vape that will end my day of taste boredom.

I avoid PG because I don't like the throat hit, but I could add some and still be OK. I mean, a lot of the off the shelf brands I buy have PG so I guess I could add it as long as I keep the ratio low. And I guess I could also use an education. I haven't spent time on the DIY threads mostly because I'm afraid to spend more money, but maybe it'd help me make better use of what I already have. Thanks!

Ditto and ditto! I love my itaste for grab and go! And I've dropped it a million times LOL. I can't believe it's not broken yet. It does have a ding. But for like 25 bucks can't beat it.

I agree. The VV 3.0 is a great little device. I too have dropped mine or knocked it off my desk a million times and it's still going strong. It's great for on the go and I bring it with me everywhere!
