What's your order number mate, is there any delay?

Hey Perseas

I was just saying it 'stings' having something new released before you even receive the old.
It was not a comment about delivery. I've always been nothing but amazed at how fast I receive orders.

Thanks for the reply! I don't mind waiting, vaping has taught me a lot of patience :p

Also, any news on the Piccolo's? I had a V3 two tone and swapped it. I instantly regretted that decision and have been waiting to get another!

I love the look of the brushed/scratch resistant finish as well, will you be doing that for the V3? I prefer the V3's contours rather than the straight lines of the 2.6, as I'm sure many do.

Thanks Perseas :vapor:

hi perseas,
i ve owned a spheroid for a few mnths now, its my only vape.
but i find tht i just dnt get the same flavour as before,
do u think it has ne thing to do with the filling material?
how often shld the filling material be changed.
also wat kind of coil set up do u suggest?

Yep, change the filler material, I keep mine almost 3 months, but I use the same juice in this particular Spheroid. Clean all the unit.
Dismantle the base and clean all its pieces, there is a video tutorial how to open the base of GP Spheroid in the tips & tricks section of our web site.

I personally use 0,17 mm nichrome, 4 coils, diagonally put in lasso style, 2 mm wick with 3,5 mm length torched.

I repost a few tips & tricks buried in the previous pages:

The gurgling sound means that you have juice inside the base. Blow from the 510 connector and it will be fine.

I would like to mention the lasso style by Alexmach, for the wick and I recommend the length of the wick to be equal to the diameter of the Spheroid, no more of 5 cm and no less than 3.5 mm. In that way, you have good wicking and no need to touch the wick during refill.

SS mesh for those who don't like SiO2 by Philip100

SS mesh for those who don't want aquarium wool by herby68 and implemented by Philips100.
60 cm (4x 15cm) #400 SS mesh. (2.2ml capacity).

The best way to avoid hot spots is to put the coil diagonally. (image by Maff)

And a technique for the cotton lovers by Vapid:

Here's one tip for twisted coils by Maff:

Pinch the two ends of wire between the thumbnail and finger. Get your allen key (used for opening the spheroid top cap). Stick it in the loop and twist the allen key.

It's so so simple but the results are great.

Can spheroids be used as a dripper RBA? I have fallen in love with dripper rebuildables, and have read about the spheroid, but I want to ask this and know 100% before putting money towards one.

Thanks all!

PS-Got my shipping notice for my first PAPS today!!! SO EXCITED!!!

Dripping with Spheroid

Instead of directing the wick upwards to touch the filler material, you put it down to touch the tube, and it can hold 8-10 drops, it depends
on their size.

You unscrew the bell and with the help of a toothpick you push the strands of the wick down once. The filler is obsolete in that case.

yeah the SS mesh is how my gf uses her spheroid.. SS mesh instead of filler, SS mesh wrapped around the coil area of the wick with silica (i think its silica) run through the center... i dont have a pic of the spheroid to post but its basically the same as what's in this pic here...

I just received my Paps 2.1 and the switch and contacts are definitely not plated. I was under the impression that I would receive the plated contacts? Perseas can you clarify.
