+1. I've looked at other brands for my final mod purchases, but I keep coming back to GP for this reason. Sure, others make really nice mods, but what happens if it breaks or comes with some flaw? Screw that.

GP and perseas set the high-bar in my experience for unbelievable customer service and treating his clients like family. Wow. Just wow.

I'd likely be a lifetime fan based on the quality of the product alone, but the absolutely unique white-glove treatment guarantees that I can go ahead and order anything from GP and be confident that i will be receiving nothing but superlative products!

I cannot think of another company that I can say the same thing - bravo perseas and team GP!

In my 4-years of vaping I've only seen one other mod maker go to extended lengths to make top quality products and please customers like Perseas.

He has made me a fan and a customer for life!

Top notch devices and top notch customer service. What is there not to like? Nothing! GP ROCKS!

GP PAPS X UPDATES

The production of the new top cap has started and at the end of the week, we'll start sending them to the owners of the GP PAPS X.
The air holes are 8 now.

A new AFC, 1 mm higher from the current one for a flush look, is already in production, not pictured here. This will be available as a spare, with the other upcoming replacement parts of GP PAPS X.
It serves ornamental purposes and it can be used with atomizers that haven't bottom air channels.
But, it has been designed to work with the Spheroid and similar OD atomizers providing a non adjustable air flow.
It will come out in a brushed finish similar to the rest of the GP PAPS X body to ensure an unobtrusive appearance.

I had a strange dream last night that I thought I would share with you...

As far as I can recall, it started out with a text message received from "Perseas" about picking up a friend (I'm a livery driver, btw). Next thing I know, my doorbell rings and there are two people there and they inform me that they're here for the ride. Much to my surprise, the second person there starts to move the first guy's luggage out to the driveway, where there sits some high-class, fancy automobile (I couldn't tell what it was, but resembled an old school Rolls Royce). The second guy kind of disappears, but the other guy, who I'm supposed to drive, gets in the back seat. As I take bit to process what is going on, I start doing what I do, load up his luggage in this crazy car and try to get all set to go wherever he has to go. I ask him, "Where are you headed this evening?" He's responds with, "Anaheim". "You mean, like in California?", I replied. "YES!", he says and then sticks his nose back into his tablet where he's got some sort of business going on.

So I'm in the driver's seat thinking to myself, wow, this isn't my car and none of my stuff is here! What's the best way to get from here (Chicago) to Anaheim? I end up stumbling with my smartphone as I'm trying to pull up my GPS app, but now my phone is stuck in limbo advertising mode....useless! I remember that I kept trying though... even tried to text Perseas back to find out what the hell this was all about! To no avail though. Thoughts begin running through my head... Wow, this is going to be a BIG fare going cross country, will he have enough money? I'd hope so, with this crazy car!!

Sadly, I woke up after this point. Trying to figure out what this dream was all about. So, as I come to my computer and catch up on ECF, I noticed that you made the announcement for the X top caps and Vapourday being changed.... Was this mysterious man I was about to embark on an important business journey, King Perseas himself, but incognito?

Dear Perseas, Can we have a 'flat top cap' option for the 'X', as a 'purchasable spare'? Something akin to our Paps v2.5 without any 'airflow control ring'. And in polished SS to match the firing button.

By any chance could we buy it in polished finish as well? To match the firing button.

I look forward to the brushed. As, it will look uniform and consistent with the mod. There will be no guesswork if the AFR is part of the mod or atty.
I enjoy a more durable look on all my GP. I do own a polished set but, it stays in my vaping area at home. My wife is trying to lay claim on it the last week or so. I may hide it for a while.

I am sure the spare parts will come in time. Right now we got what we have been waiting for, a perfect mod, so I'm just fine with waiting for as long as I need for parts.

^True. The 'X' is perfect as it is. It works amazingly well, looks sweet, hits hard, feels right and going gr8 guns!

I'm stoked also b'coz it's looking cool with my Kayfun Lites... ditto finish! And with the 'shiny' accent (AFC) breaking the soundbarrier - the OD difference between the two gets invisible and adds that additional aura of coolness!

Thus, except for changing my juices (sounds bad I know) with attys atop other Paps once a while, I'm using just the 'X' since it landed at my door. I'm addicted to it... seems to be a phenomenon!

I wrote those two posts (1-shiny AFC & 2-flat top cap) only b'coz Perseas offered an alternative, which isn't required IMHO, b'coz I don't see any, I repeat: ANY issue with the 'X' till now. This one is rock solid as it is... at least for me!

Yeah, I've been stalking the taifun myself. Although, from all the X+SnP photos, I think that may be the sexiest setup. Sophia is on the way, now if I could only score an SnP.

I removed the oring from the air control ring and left a hairline gap, less than 1 mm. That solves any problems with air flow.

Edit: The gap is on the air control ring not the well, and this is with the Sofia atomizer. The diver because of the flange it creates a gap on its own so I can screw the air control ring all the way up to fully close and I still get air flow.
