I don't recall if I even had a choice for shipping. It was either DHL or some Euro carrier. DHL was listed as the faster option so I went with that. I bought a Sophia around the same time from Leo and tracking shows she's somewhere over Germany right about now.

Up until recently, the last time I bought anything greek was a Kir Fanis cartopunch about 8 months ago and that took over 3-4 weeks to arrive. I was just happy it showed up. I honestly thought it was a complete loss because of the trouble I had placing an order through their website and the caveman style english the customer service spoke.

Mr. Perseas, for the record i'd like you to know that i feel your site is very easy to use & order from (same with your US reseller, Domo Vapor Co) and you communicate very properly (better than me, I always put commas in the wrong place).

I was thinking ptfe tape but I looked at the msds on it and I'm questioning how safe it is when exposed to eliquid...

Interesting point ... but I figured it's generally used around home plumbing as well.

I've also used the top cap o-ring from SnP tank on KFL fill hole. Not a perfect fit but good enough to stop anything from leaking there. Ideally, the o-ring should be thinner than the one that's used on SnP.

The msds says its safe for use in plumbing for water, but I have no idea of knowing how it'll react with the things in eliquid...

I may try ordering different o-rings down the line, I just need to find some with a little more give to them than the ones I'd ordered previously. Until then, I'm going to give the dental floss a try

Idaho, I PIF'd an ohms meter to a nice fella in Ohio and because it was on a payday, I shipped it USPS Express mail Next Day. Like $35 bucks dude. Long story short, it didn't get there nor did USPS know where it was. It eventually arrived with freaking tire track marks but it zapped my confidence with postal carriers in general.

RE: kayfuns leaking

I know this isn't the SvM KFL thread, but relevant to us.

I've had 3 kfls so far, all leaked from the fill port. I recognize airhole leaks by the mess they dribble down the side, whereas fill port leaks you almost don't see until you remove the atty (and the smear they leave on my atty stand).

I too thought it was just leaking through the screw - tightening it mightily didn't do the trick for any of them. For me, what cured the leakage was tightening the positive pin connector just a bit. Not enough to deform the insulator, but enough to take up slack caused by heat cycles or maybe simply by unscrewing the atty so much. The "tight" point was just a few pounds of torque *past* the point where it would cause the riser to spin a little. I had to hold the riser with a set of pliers to keep it straight while torquing down the positive pin.

YMMV, but it fixed the fill ports leaks for me. Overwicking/gurgling also went away when I fixed the fill port leak as I presume it re-established the proper air pressure required to keep the fluid from filling the vapor chamber.

See if you said that to me in person then I'd be like, Yeah good idea makes sense, Curisu. But reading the post just takes away the 'panache' from getting a KFL if you haven't used one before. That's not a slight on you or the KFL, it's more about my incredible ability of reading into things too much which probably explains why it took me 14 months to pick up a mechanical.

The upside is, atleast I picked a great mod -- GP series Paps. I can't put them down. My slotted cartos are working nicely in my SnP constantly being moved from my Paps X to my SS 2.5 then back again to the Paps X! Different battery configs each time (thank goodness I bought a SS 18650 tube too).

ETA: Now I want a t-shirt that says I smoke batteries, or somethin' like that. I also gave this thread 5-star rating. Why? Because I can.

This was my original thought upon arrival of mine as I posted much the same as you did here. Although I, have never exp gurgling unless I pressurized it myself plugging the air hole and quick drawing it....instead of turning it upside down properly.
After 7 billion builds I figured how to build adjust the wick and not have to.

Funny 1.5 months ago or so I put the 3.1's and Lite on the shelf as I was getting bored with them. This thread and all the photos with them, I decided to recirculate the Lite and a 3.1.
With GVC, a fav of mine, I do not care for the steps to remove the charcoal lump on the coil. Finding the flavor is perfect and much easier to maintain on a Spheroid, I have 2 of my Spheroids killing GVC and the KF's are back to my NET tobaccos.

The Doodlebug is my last mesh genny to move out. It is tough as I love it. Better than anything Doc Dave imo as those left first. The Doodlebug is just a beautiful hitting device. It will be tough but, here it sits lonely and empty.

I am happy to hear that RHP! The original template was more complex and it was hard to persuade my ex web programmer to remove all the extra crap and modify the code, for the sake of a simpler interface. As you can imagine, we have changed many things under the hood, even the programmer and we continue to do so. It's not perfect, but it's functional, fast and doesn't crash under traffic anymore.

The reason for over half of my edits is to put commas and my English are not as good as I wanted to be. I always think, how to express better a thought for matters, that a native speaker wouldn't even need to think about.

The other half edits are caused by my dump impulse to click the reply button, before I realise what I wrote :D

Yes, it's good to have a geek on the payroll especially if you are family or close friends. What time is it in Athens right now?

So speaking of screws, mind out off the gutter Digi, I used to have many, I'm down to one. Where does a bro need to shop for a screwin? Screw...meh. Anyone? I've checked inTaste and most all German suppliers of de kafoon litendueiche. < made up German word, enjoy.

As far as where to purchase the spares for the Lite, I haven't an answer for you my bro! I can check my spares when I return from the daily grind, and if I have any other spares for the FILLHOLE, I'm sure some have your name on em!

In that case, I'd say to the Russians 'n Germans who made the KFL to buy those iddy biddy o-rings in bulk from Mr. Perseas!

I don't have a KFL or taifun gt yet. Not in a big rush, either. Sophia on her way, have a feeling she'll keep me busy with plenty of vape homework. Ordering new juices, too. Very pleased so far with my slotted cartos inside this beautiful SnP tank, especially when she's sitting ontop of a GP Paps X, vapor is feeling better on the X like ya'll said.

All my screws weep a bit, it's more like juice sweat :). I used the tiny oring from the small screwdriver that is included...it is tiny. That worked but was weird. A small strand of plumbers tape also works and I mean small. Qbro is correct on the floss as well. I just let em sweat.
