Perseas, all is well @ mi casa. The destruction commenced less than a half mile out my back door. We were in for a direct hit, but were missed thankfully. When the dust settled, my wife and I went out to record the damage. This is the hardest our city has been hit since I began to breathe, that I can remember anyway.

Thank you for your thoughts and sincerity my friend. At this point, we are unknown to any casualties. State of Emergency has been declared with a potential 7 day curfew being enforced. No movement is authorized except for Law and Safety personnel.

As for us, we sit in the dark by candlelight enjoying some ECF and tasty vapes ;)

I see, in such moments we need clarity of mind and patience. Take care my friend.

Hey digi, glad you and your family are ok. My thoughts go out to all folks affected. It's been all over our national media this morning. I can only imagine how scary that is, I have never witnessed a force of nature like that.

Let's hope you have got enough charged batteries to keep you sane till the power comes back on!

All the best

Digi, are you from the Brookport area? I was 2 miles from the area that got leveled to the ground there. Scary stuff. Picked a good day to visit family...

..Sent from the vape lair..

Nevermind. I see you are from Indiana. You got it after I did I'm guessing.

Freaking nightmare.

I'm glad that you're okay neighbor. Northeastern Illinois was hit pretty bad, but fortunately it missed us before moving across the border to you guys.

Hello everyone. I'm about to join the GP family very soon I hope after drooling at the paps for over a year. I just bought a KFL+ last week and have been eyeballing that gorgeous little SS v2.5 for a while now. I have GOT to snag one of these little PAPS on the next release but I have a few questions for any of you that can help.

I noticed that Domo never got any of them on the last Vaporday thingy so I just created an account over on the Vaporart website thinking I could just order it on that site. While I was there I noticed the link for Vapist so I went over there and read that US customers must purchase from Domo and not from Vapist.

So I'm a little cornfused about where I need to go to order a Paps SS v2.5 later this week. Can I buy it of the main Vaporart website? If so, will a "Add to shopping cart" button show up once they are in stock as there is nothing there right now. It just says Out of Stock with no button thingy.

Thanks for any insight here. I'll die if I miss this release.

Edit: oh one other thing. Is there any need to buy extra parts like the hot spring kit or other items or are these pretty solid devices that don't normally need parts replaced?

Hey there vaps, welcome.

As far as my understanding goes you have the choice of either Vapourart site or domo in the US. I believe vapist only sell to EU. I think Domo is like vapist here in the UK in that they got stock around a week after it goes on sale at Vapourart.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong!

You will not need spares, these things are built tough and come with everything you should need. You may want to pick up a v2.5 telescopic post as this gives you a third option and more flexibility on battery size. Otherwise I would consider getting a 18500 tube, again for some additional flexibility/options.

You will not be disappointed!

Hope that helps.

Hi, Welcome aboard!

Yes, you can only purchase it from Domo or directly thru Vapour Art.
And yes, once it's in stock ~ you could just click that 'add to cart' button.

Nope - you don't need to purchase any additional things, unless you want to. Your Paps will come to you fully assembled - in ready to fire condition, along with it's small bag of spares.

Shaweeet! Thank you both for the replies. I got my finger on the shopping cart button right now but something tells me my hand is going to cramp up by the time Friday rolls around. :D

What time will vaporday start in US east coast time?

And I know I won't be disappointed. I have learned over my vaping years to research and read and research some more before making a purchase. I'm not a collector, I use my devices extensively and when I do break down to buy something it's because I know it's a very well made device and will last forever if well taken care of. I spend my hard earned money as wisely as I can, which is why I'm soon to be a proud owner of a shiny new GP PAPS SS v2.5. :thumb:

Oh... BTW, It's all Qorax's fault too. I kept seeing those pic's pop up and I finally could stand it anymore. :D

Oh, I know I will. My wife on the other hand.... not so much. :D

Two things completely changed my vaping life ~ Kayfuns and GP-Paps

I was on the fence for weeks about buying a KFL and then I saw you post a gorgeous pic of a KFL on the little Paps SS. It brought a small tear to my eye.
Needless to say, I bought the KFL+ last week and now that I have it, it simply MUST have that little guy holding it up. IMHO they were meant for each other. :hubba:

So I just received my new Paps shipment today. This is my first. I'd like to start by saying the products are absolutely beautiful and machined like nothing I've seen to date. I ordered the Paps 2.5 SS plus a Lux 18500 tube, Spheroid and drip tip. I am in awe with every single one of these masterpieces. Thank you Perseas for sending this and helping raise my vape gear to a new level. :)

As I'm trying things I did notice that the 18350 configuration is not allowing me to have my atty sit flush without having to add a gap with the Paps top cap. So my choice is to have my atty sitting with a gap or have the atty flush with the top cap gapped. I tried this with the Kayfun Lite, Spheroid and the Immortalizer. All of these had the same issue. Is this normal for the 18350 configuration? I'm including a picture for illustration picture. Of course I'll include some more pictures later with the different faces of my new Paps family.
