disc golf, potato guns ... funny things you are doing when you run into boring times :)

@perseas - can we get a teaser shot of the Spheroid-X? It's about the only vape-related thing i'm seriously looking forward to!
I was waiting for this for a long time - but SnP changed everything for me ;)

Now I am really happy with the SnP (and the Sophia bathing in it), found my vapor's heaven I guess - the reasons: fast checking of liquid level, great performance, absolutely reliable, jeanspocketfriendly, easy and fast refilling without needle, super super super easy all-day handling and pocketing - great product!!!

never thought I would like it so much - will order a 2nd SnP on vapourday, as I ordered just 1 from the last batch (and 1 Sophia) for checking out if it would be worth the good words I heard about it

... We are also working on some cool new things and if we're lucky, we'll have them ready before Xmas, although last moment's changes is our habit :)
Oh yessssss !!!

I have to ponder where you connected me to disc golf lol. Is there something I said or a profile thing I put somewhere I don't know about ? Lol, either way, yeah we maybe don't go about 4-5 times a year when it's really cold.

As for discs getting damaged, there are certain discs that are simply not replaceable like a KC Pro Aviar that's been in my bag for 5 years that will def break in the winter. Those ones come out in the winter. I have about 250 discs so finding a replacement is not hard.

I took this amazing pic on Sunday actually.

That is a great pic!

I saw a disc golf bag in the background of the photo with your nivel chip mod and matching tattoo a while back. The putters I smashed were both firm wizards, I've relegated them to strictly putts now. Ions for driving putters now.

My disc collection mirrors my vaping collection, lots of different things with a handful or so in regular use.
I've probably got 100+ discs, most of them I no longer throw due to them no longer being produced or mold changes(loved the pre 2004 beasts), and I'm down to seven or so molds I still use.

Yesterday night, we finished the last details on Spheroid 22. We have to make some final tests, before we start the production. Initially, we shall make a 22 version and afterwards we'll produce a base for the X. We are also working on some cool new things and if we're lucky, we'll have them ready before Xmas, although last moment's changes is our habit :)

S T O K E D !
One 'polished' Spheroid22 pls :)

Forgot about that pic! I throw almost all Dynamic Discs and Lat 64 with 1 Innova and 1 discraft disc.

I'm currently throwing wizards/comets/pains/strikers/flows/destroyers/spirits in one of the prototype grip bags. I've gotten a lot of DD gear over the years, he puts on a lot of local tourneys in Kansas and Missouri.

Back on topic, I just snagged a piccolo from the classifieds! I'm off to shop batteries for it!

Pictures Please!!!

Sendt fra mobil!

Under other circumstances I would have posted a picture, actually I am tempted to do it, but I don't want to expose a special characteristic of the positive contact, not yet. When the unit is finalised, I'll do it, promise!

All Greek above the 510.

I've got Boba's Bounty in both attys right now, with a 1.3 4/5 of 30G on Sugar N Cream yarn in both. I have both set at 10.5 watts and my Provari ring adjusted to give nearly identical airflow. I have vaped about 3ml on each.

I absolutely love these attys, the Sofia and Spheriod are both very similar in internal design so I figured with a nice strong layered juice like BB that it would be a good time to put them side by side.

Flavour hmmmm, this is a tough one. The Spheroid seems to have a small edge here. I'm not sure if it would apply to every juice, but with BB is tastes just a tad more full and rich. Whereas the Sofia has a slightly sharper taste that highlights the high end of the taste spectrum. While it tastes very similar in both it's just ever so slightly better in the Spheroid. The vapour is also just a bit thicker, but it's seriously almost too close to call. At the end of the day the Spheroid wins this one, but not by much.

Rebuilding. I'm split on this one. With the Speroid making up a new coil and getting it tightened down under the posts is super easy. But then with the Sofia if I have a coil and ceramic waiting to go in (i usually have about 3-5 made up) I can just slide the tank up, unscrew the business end of the atty and pop a new coil in. I think I give the slight edge to the Sofia here, because while the coil it's self with the NR-R-NR is a bit more annoying to make (not much though after you've done it a few hundred times) you also have the ability to change your coil out anywhere you are so long as you have a backup with you. Whereas with the Spheroid you need to sit down and spend a bit of time with it. Very close IMO but the Sofia wins.

Filling. I'm going to call this a draw, but ONLY because of the SnP tank. The fill holes in this tank are simply amazing as any of that own one know. Close off the juice control, squeeze some juice in and open the juice control back up. Done and done. Spheroid is equally as easy, just drip some juice in , give it a few shakes and then top it off and you're good to go. Both take under a minute, but as I said that is solely due to the SnP tank making it so easy. With a standard carto tank the Spheroid would have a bit of an edge.

Juice capacity. Only because it's a tank atty does the Sofia win this one.

At the end of the day I LOVE of these attys and I never want to give either of them up. But if I had to pick just one it would be the Spheroid only by a hair.

Really the whole thing just ends up with the Greeks being amazing. I used to 'cloud chase' with the Asian RDAs, but I think i'm over that now. It was fun while it lasted, but I'll stick to flavour chasing and these two gems.

Feel free to throw a prototype spheroid in the envelope, I will beta test it for you. =)

chadsmo, I just did an inventory. Everything I own is either made in the USA or made in Greece, even my drip tips, except for the Ekowool (Russia) and wire (either Germany or China, I assume).

I've tried most of my juices in all of my attys, and every juice is generally assigned to one atty, two at most.

VCV Nutty Cookie in a Diver or Killer? Terrible, tastes burnt. Spheroid or Ithaka? One of my favorite vapes.

Ahlusion Blueberry Vanilla Cake in a Diver is perfection. Spheroid is pretty good, too. Killer and Ithaka, meh, forgettable.

Pluid is only good in Killer and Ithaka, muted in a Spheroid and almost like vaping pure base in a Diver.

I find tobaccos are unbeatable in Spheroids.

Totally understand that 100%. The only reason I wanted to compare the Spheroid and Sofia for myself is because the internal chamber the vapor travels through is very similar. I don't have any other attys that I would put side by side for this very reason. I have certain juices that only go in my Dripper Pro cause they're just not quite as good with other attys. I'm getting a big order of juice in the next day or two and there's a few that I havnt vaped since I got my Sofia and Spheroid , pretty excited to try them out.
