It is a pity, because we did what we could to send them as fast as possible to Fabel and he did an extraordinary work to send them to all of you at once. Anyway, the coming week, all parcels may have been delivered, during holidays all post offices suck big time.

Yes. You guys did an awesome job and during a very busy time of the year for businesses and your personal lives. I truly appreciate everything both you and Fabel have done for us.

Hey all! Been interested in a paps for a while and have started looking at them again. Can anyone tell me why the ss is 22mm and the x is 23? Kind of new to the 20x1 mech mods.
Where's the love old buddy? They are just sized differently. They are two completely different builds as well. The X was a recent release as the Lux is part of the PAPS family line. The PAPS are a very beautiful tube mod that has 4 tube sizes for battery types. The PAPS also has a choice of 2 caps, one vented and a flat top.
The X being a solid 23mm build is one that has a larger footprint and stance. The tubes on this are in sections with a cap with either a afc or solid X ring. The switch is incredible boasting silver plated brass.
The newest soon to be released v1.5 top cap is self adjusting (no posts to manually screw) for the batteries and atomizer.
The v3 Lux is soon to be released with a similar top cap.

If You scan the last couple pages here, pictures are posted.
Have a quick read of my blog and the X and a bit of history is told.
Bout time you made it over. Hope you and fam are well.

We'll have them available on Monday. Many people prefer the X rings, so I prefer not to bundle the top cap parts of X with a default configuration. I am trying to cover all the options, but it isn't always feasible.
no no...that's great! thanks Perseas!!

Idaho!!!! How the hell are ya? Thanks for the info. I hear nothing but good things about the switches, might go for a regular ss if one comes my way. They are all gorgeous mods!

The seams will be more visible depending the order you screw the tubes, because they have been assembled and brushed all together in a certain order. From the other side, they have been polished by hand and small differences have to be considered normal. If you cannot bear them, send it back to us for refinishing. You have commented about it before, so it must be an issue for you, but these things cannot be pictured always in a photo, although they can be felt.

This is perfectly understandable. It's not necessarily that i cannot bear it, but I have heard a few members mention that their seams are not visible. I am sure its fine and you will shake your head or roll your eyes when you see it:laugh: I may send it in just so you can check it out and touch it up for me. When I hear others mention seamless, in my head I think that is is like the spheroid where it is extremely hard to find the seams.
I am not expecting perfect, but if you can make it better, then there is no reason for me to refuse your offer. This is top shelf service/support. Thanks Perseas!

1. Then in all likelihood it is the other suggestion above, your coil is sitting too low. Lower coil = more throat hit. As someone who prefers less throat hit than most, I would suggest a) raising the coil and b) trying some higher VG juice, maybe even 100% VG, as PG creates more throat hit.

2. Analogs are verboten! Thems the rules. We promise to help you achieve maximum vape on any and all gear, Paps and non-Paps, as long as you don't touch the nasties. To help stick to vaping until we get this sorted out, take some Cepacol or similar throat-numbing agent, so you can vape instead of smoke.
This could be my problem. I could have swore that I read the lower the coil sits the softer the TH. I have my coils barely above the bottom; just enough so they do not short out.

It was a brushed X ring, which is awesome because I already had the polished X ring. Thank you Perseas for showing some love to the Calivapers - I just got my GPin with the Paps X 1.5 top cap today.

Although I'm really loving the GPin as I no longer have to futz with the telescoping pins, I seem to be unable to use a mechanical fuse now without leaving a large gap. It's not a big deal since I do have mods where I similarly cannot fit a fuse, but I can with the Paps X 1.0 top cap.

Did I miss something? how did you get a gpin and top cap already?

Long time lurker and admirer of GP products here. I got on the GP bandwagon awhile ago with a LUX and my collection grew as I got the Senio dripper and realized I could have another functional mod just by buying a switch to go with the extra tube I purchased with my lux. Then I got a hybrid adapter and another switch and ended up with 3 GP Mods and I love them all. I'm currently debating about whether to get a PAPS X or a couple of spheroids or wait for the Heron. This is becoming an expensive thread to participate in. Debating about selling one of 2 high end mods I waited a long time for to purchase more GP gear. I guess I have until Monday to decide.

I've really enjoyed the discussion and banter here and appreciate how Perseas is a very active participant and seeks to know his customers beyond just their vaping needs....

I believe the lower the coil to the airhole the smoother the throat hit as well.
Keeping the as close to the air works for me.
