Yep, as suspected! It only gets better buddy! Glad your here.

Thanks man! Quick question... Got the base off my spheroid to upgrade it... There was some sort of black gunk that came out of the holes for the fork. Is that normal? Gave it a good wash and I'll be throwing the new posts on! I'll take pics after :)

Out of curiosity what was your other tube mod that you tested it against? Also what Paps did you get??

It was a brass monkey z2 tube and switch. With the worst 510 connector ever lol

Do you have the Provari mini? Because that would be 18350 or 18490...the standard Provari uses 18490 or 18650. Can you double check?

I am STOOPPID~! I have a regular ProVari with an extension cap. I have one 18650, and one 18490! Good catch~! So would a '500' tube work with a 18490 battery?

But, before you do any work, a very Kind ECF member is going to get me all hooked up with a PAPs~! So it looks like my entry into the world of mods is going to start right, with a GP mod. So shortly, I will be an official member of this fine group :)

Use the fork and split the base to wash the inside out. I suspect it is setiment from machining that got plugged during its usonic cleaning.
Threads are reversed on the base.

Yup , canada customs had my package for the entire day yesterday.…

Hope you get it soon. Mine has decided to take a vacation to England and back to Brussels where it seems to be spending the day sightseeing. First time I've ever had a misrouted package with DHL. I hope they figure out what to do with it soon!

For all of you who have received your orders, enjoy!

Nice. All set!!! One more question. Did you say you use a 1" by 2 3/4" piece of fluff Idaho? Cause I got a piece a little smaller than that.

Heeheehee. Can you tell I'm excited!? Been eyeing this tank for over a month, drooling at all the cool pics I see of it on ECF (thanks to Yankee, chad, Q, darkgear to name a few) and finally got my hot hands on one. And haven't even tried it yet, but know I will be buying more.

I have dumped way to many juices trying to load carto tanks (ok, confession. Mostly when I've had a few glasses of vino) so having these cool fill holes is da bomb. Plus it's very sturdy feeling and looks sweet on my ProVari!!

The eagle has landed. So far this thing rocks!

Finish is absolutely gorgeous, threads are like a dream, button is perfect. And it's way smaller than I expected!

Now time to upgrade this spheroid to a v3... This should be interesting :)

Edit: oh and I did a test with my other tube mod... Same battery and same atty. hits about twice as hard.

I knew it wasn't just me. I have been blown away by how hard it hits. I put my RSST on top with my normal 3 wraps of 28g at .6ohms, and for once I am honestly considering a 4th wrap for .8.

Excited for you! I'm currently twiddling my thumbs waiting for somebody, anybody, to get the 23s in stock. I don't have anything but 15mm carto tanks at the moment and I'm trying really hard not to just spring for some other tank just to have until I can get a SnP. I have a Killer that's just itching to go in it (well, and I couple of Sophias, too).
