Perseas!

I think I know the answer to this but, I thought I would ask for myself and for others,

Will the SnP tank airflow work with the flat cap on the PAPS?

If you lift the 510 connector from the flat top cap enough, to give space for the bottom cover ring to be unscrewed 1/2 - 1 turn, that will work as an air flow control.

I think my button came from the same batch as TroyDestroy's... I don't think gold is supposed to tarnish but this one keeps getting darker and darker...

Give me your order number to check it and tomorrow morning I'll know. If it is brass it will get a darker brown hue in a few days. Right now, it is difficult to discern it.

Edit:

I found your orders, #6789 and #5589, from which one is the button in the photo? Isn't the same with the other one?

Hello Perseas,
I was reading your description of the SnP tanks on your website and I noticed that the bottom cap on the 22mm is described as being recessed but the 23mm bottom cap is not, are they both recessed? because I plan or hope to pick up the 23mm SnP tank if it was recessed.

Hello buddy,

Thank you for the question, it was a typo, I've corrected it, both are recessed :)

It's the one from the 2nd order (#6789). The serial number is 0307.
The only reasons it concerns me...
1) The 1st one didn't do that. It kept it original shinny gold color.
2) I've been using it with a GM 18650 brass tube (yes, I slept through the LUX tub sale :(). The button is changing color at nearly the same rate as the brass tube.

I'll send you a new button and when you receive it, send me the old one back for inspection.

I can do that, or, if you're amenable to the idea, I'll buy it from you. While it doesn't look too good with the LUX tube, it looks great with my regular brass tubes.

If you need the old button back for trouble shooting and QC purposes, I understand that too.

I'll send you a new one and if in-mean while, the old one darkens more, then it is definitely brass, no need to send it back. I suppose we speak for the button, not the switch.

Yes. That is correct. The button only. The switch itself is perfect.
As for the button, it does appear to be plated but not as well as the 1st one. In either case I don't want anything for nothing. If I am to keep the old switch, I'd like to pay you something for it.

Your offer to send a new button is very generous. I don't want to abuse that generosity.

My apologies for not saying it earlier... Thank you! :)
