Just what I needed. 10-Q all

One point to note: I'm normally a "the bigger, the better" kind of guy when it comes to batteries. My Samsung Note 2 has a triple battery replacement that makes it a brick that lasts 3-4 days.

I got the Lux with the serial tube instead of building a package with an 18650 tube, because it is tiny tiny tiny. Lux 18350 + Scuba tank or SnP tank without a drip tip is about the length of a Provari. The Lux 18350 is about 2mm longer than the SuperT Tanbur drip tip I use with it. Very pimp daddy.

both GP Paps versions are winners, from a design perspective, from a usability perspective, but *most* especially, from a support perspective. Perseas here is the designer and spends quite a bit of time supporting us and building community; it really is amazing to participate in. he has personally taken care of me with an issue i had with a button, sending me a replacement without me requesting it - that floored me.

domovaporco (VA's official US distributor) seems to take the same attitude - i contacted them about a missing piece, and they had it out the next day.

if he were not so active, i'd still think the mod is an amazing piece of engineering, but it wouldn't have the heart in it, and I probably wouldn't think so fondly of it.

qorax, idaholaho, and a handful of others are really the reason this community is being sustained like this, and with perseas, they make folks like me stay up LATE into the night to hit the vapourart website as soon as stock is replenished to jam an order in ;)

This is a great community and a truly wonderful mod. I had actually forgotten how good it really is. I put it down and used another mod for a couple weeks. The other is great. But after hitting the button on the Paps just one time, I thought to myself "why did I put you down to begin with?"

Saw one of these last week.
Is it something that is still available ?

Not just due to "availability" CW, these many posts are b'coz of (a)the love we have for this amazing device, (b)an outstanding modder among us (who's always available here - there - everywhere;)), (c)the serious involvement of the end-users & the GP Team alike - in its design & production of their devices, (d)the cogent evolution of the Paps over the years - based on 'ease of operability', (e)the introduction of a pioneering, state-of-the-art, model (the GP Lux) alongwith a ground-breaking Switch Mechanism (the v2.5) - which is the epitome of Hi-End Mech.Mod luxury, (f)a flawless new addition for an astounding vape (the GP SnP Tank System) AND (g)a superior Customer Service par excellence by GP - leaving no margin for errors!

Ma'am, this thread is alive and kicking b'coz of some exceptional happenings at GP... viva Perseas!

Got it. Couple of questions. What are the spring and extra screw for? I guess I need non-flanged cartos for the tank to sit flush with the mods, right? How does the lock ring work exactly?

And I have got to get some 3ohm cartos, this SR I have is ok but I can only imagine what it's going to be like with a LR.

The spring is a spare for the switch.
The extra screw is part of the GP telescopic centre post v2.5 which consists of:

1x M3 brass male screw with 1,2 mm head.
1x M3 brass male screw with 2,2 mm head.
1x M5 brass male screw, with 6,6 mm length and M3 female threads
1x PEEK II thermoplastic insulator reinforced with glass fibres for stiffness and durability, FDA approved.
It is compatible with GP PAPS v1, v2, v2.1, v2.5, GP Piccolo v1, v2, v2.5. v2.6, v3, v3.1.
The telescopic post v2.5 can be used with all length variation of kick and different brands of batteries when we put them inside a GP PAPS v2.5 and most tubes of v2.1.

The locking ring works by turning it clockwise for locking the button and counterclockwise for unlocking it.

GP Salt & Pepper Tank has a recessed bottom ring to permit the use of flanged cartomizers and being flush on a mod at the same time. If your tank cannot do that, you need a non-flanged cartomizer, for use with a GP PAPS mod, because our top cap haven't any recessed section for this case.

Have been reading in this thread for the past couple of days now. And have decided to go for it ... GP SnP with a Diver is on its way!

Just waiting on the GP Paps 2.5 to be available. Can't wait. All the pics so far are drool worthy.

Just a question. Does anybody know what type of Kanthal wire the vapourart store sell? Is it Kanthal-D or A or A1?? perseas?
