Have the salt and pepper tank. No matter WHAT I do - it does not hold vacuum. Changed o-rings, made sure they are lubed, yada yada - it's a carto tank - not tooooo hard.
Put it together - vape once or twice, gurgle, flood, leak. Never had a problem with a carto tank before. Pretty tank - and pretty useless.
Boge carto, killer 705, whatever - same thing every time.
Will be searching for tips - but...again...it's a carto tank....

Must learn to quiet that impulsive voice in me. Finally got to the site before the GP Spheroids (polished) sold out, and during checkout, the little voice said "C'mon, as long as you're here, get two of them".

I heard, and obeyed.

Congratulations! You will love them. It is obviously important for your health to listen to your voices. :)

Howdy folks! So I'm on my vacation in Mackinac Island, and I just so happened to set a calendar alert that rang out this morning. I was able to order a Lux from my mobile phone!! I wanted to get all the extra tube sizes, but the 18650 wasn't even listed as soon as the site went live. Oh well... I got it in SS instead! Along with some extras...top cap, switch, PnB, that cool carto tool (even though I don't use cartos, it seems like it'll be useful to have at the vape station).

Looking forward to eventually getting a 650 Lux tube as well as some drip tips to complete the set!

:toast: Here's to being a part of the GP family!

:vapor:

Howdy Nach :D

Before we replace this SnP I want to ask you a rather silly question, did you seal the filling holes after you refilled it by turning the top cover ring clockwise? Unscrew the top cover ring and check whether the top cap has 2 wee O-rings over the filling holes.

I'd think it's the Diver's fault. Not the SnP's.

The SnP is actually the epitome of 'sealing'... look at the amount of strength those O-rings impart! I'm yet to see another carto-tank offer that sever ruggedness in it's built as well as assembly. This tank system in unique and wholesomely good. I've no, repeat 'no', issues with my SnP thru any no. of Cartos - Boges, Smoks and IKVs.

Yes, I've nearly packed-up my Diver. B'coz no matter what I do, however I built it (have done so not less than 35 times already, based on every YT video out there), it will leak. The Diver vapes great - but leaks. It's POS is a pipe-straw. Maybe it's only me, I might not be cut for it.

On the contrary, my SnP holds good with everything/anything I throw at it. It also looks sweet. So much so, that fully knowing The Killer's mood-swings I'm yet on the lookout now for purchasing one.

I'm afraid I'm with you for the most part, not just on the Diver, but the Killer as well. I have two divers and a killer and I may not be cut out for them either. Leaking - yes, every time, not only in the S&P, but every other tank I've tried as well. But worse than that, the great vape lasts only 10 minutes or so. Then it's not good at all. I've done at least 40 builds at this point. 32ga, 30ga, 28ga, no nr wire, nickel nr wire, silver nr wire, twisted, crimped, welded, 2mm silica, 1.5mm, 3mm, 3.5mm, ekowool in 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm. Short tails, long tails up the tube, doubled, single, resistances from .8 ohm to 2 ohm and everything in between. I've been doing this stuff for almost 5 years now and I'm pretty good at it. Never have I had a piece of gear that's given me such headaches. I'm starting to think they aren't worth it. Especially when I can throw together a Kayfun or KF lite in about 3 minutes and have a fantastic, leak-free, satisfying vape every single time on any number of builds. The spheroid is next on my hit list, but I really want to wait for the 22mm version. I just prefer the look of the topper being flush with the body of the mod - personal preference I guess.

Today I will attempt to put my device down..

..no seriously, I will attempt to purchase standard cartos while remaining a gentleman in light of recent botched purchases. :D

..stay tuned.

Let me know what you come up with. I bought some Boges and they SUCK. Can get any juice > 50% VG to wick. Prime via condom method and it vapes fine through the primed juice, after that, it won't wick through the holes.

And with the ikenvape site down there aren't may options.

Was almost going to order an SnP today since they have them available and to try something different. Think I need to pass for now after what I'm hearing.

The SnP itself is absolutely awesome. The only problems I've heard with it are that a few were a little too tight and shredded o-rings, but Perseas took care of that right away, and the one person has reported leakage, but Perseas is also working with him. I'm betting on the top o-rings on the fill holes are missing or not seated properly, but again, Perseas will make sure he's happy. I'm not digging the diver, but buy any GP product with absolute confidence; the crew will make sure you are happy with it. If you are in the market for a tank, I don't know of a better one out there than the S&P.

My diver/SnP tank experience is very similar. With the diver it leaked every time and leaked a LOT. I do think that Idaho may have hit on the reason and did provide a link to a diver thread for some help. However, the lazy part of me has not spent the time to completely figure out the diver yet. I just set it aside and grabbed a carto. No leaks at all, period. The vape is ok but it is a carto...

I'd think it's the Diver's fault. Not the SnP's.

Like you, I put all my three years experience into making the Diver work and have to admit failure. They now sit on the shelf of the "next best thing" right next to my K-lites. The K-lite is an amazing topper and performs well, but IMHO is out performed in every way by my Killer 705's in my 22mm SnP and 20mm D-Base tanks. So today when i set up what "for me" is the most satisfying experience, it consist of a Killer in the SnP and a spheroid, both sitting on top of a Paps SS 2.5 with the best all around switch (which does make the "next best thing" cut IM0. I will probably never quit looking for the nest best thing, but I hope I can quit chasing the next newest thing.

Looking for a shrink now...I NEED HELP

For everyone with diver problems. This is just general info since I don't jnow what everyone does know. The funny thingnis the diver is the one atty I have I can build awesomely. The wick position is crucial. You cannot have it directly over the hole. On the SnP spacifically you cannot leave the fill holes open or it is a straw. On the first couple of fills only fill half a tank. When filling take off you mod. I have found on the snp that it is enough force when filling to push some juice out. Or use the carto driver perseas gave to push the diver hole down just a little and then fill. I use the largest xc-116 wick from bigtex and 28 gage kanthal with .999 silver nr wire. I have tried eko and it burns for me for some reason. Might have gotten a bad supply. If you want more troubleshooting help ask away or pm me. I love the diver and I need to pick up another SnP but school is starting so I have to spend vape funds on school supplies :p

Finally found what I needed carto wise; just need to get back to the house and filler up!

Grabbed some standards and punched my own.
