How long do you boil the sera wool? and I too have enough of it to last a lifetime and my grandkids!

I place it in boiling water for no more than 3 minutes. That is pleanty of time. Make sure when you put it in it is the thickness you like and the shape to cut down as you wish. I do not boil when I want to change flavors. I just rinse in warm water and than use a hair dryer and watch it spin on the air tube. Kinda cool. Just takes a minute.

Q! Surprises me as you are a silica guy now! I would def reduce the wicking end length. Remember to gauge the length of the wick to the bottom of the spheroid. The less distance the juice has to wick to coil the better. I also see that wick getting caught up in the filler and pulling it out. I have attempted several ss wick configurations but found it didnt mate well with the sera wool as it would just pull little strands out. Last thing, make sure that wick does not hit the air tube, it could possibly cause a major POP and short.

I love the creativity.

VapouArt.com LTD has no affiliation with Genki Vape from Lakewood and whatever of our product is bought from their shop is not covered by our warranty and our customer support.
They probably bought them from us in retail prices, but they haven't got any permission to sell them in their shop.
GP Series Official resellers can be found in our site.

I definitely wouldn't have thought to use mesh in the Spheroid but looks good!
I'd also be worried about the mesh touching either the bell/tube or the housing and shorting. I sure do love that satin Spheroid though. I'm not going to be able to resist getting one of them now.

How does she taste compared to eko or silica?

To be honest, I find no difference. It seems to produce more vapor though... but that could be due to many other reasons as well. I don't have Ekowool - so wouldn't know of it. I only have Silica and Hemp.

You're the first I've seen using hemp for a wick. Is that a special order item, or something that can found in a "hobby" store. Obviously locations may be a factor, but haven't found myself looking for hemp yarn.

Thank you IDbro. I truly went into this setup for curiosity sake.

That was the second-last* image before I closed it up... and have been vaping the same setup since... no issues whatsoever - vapes gr8!

I've gone thru 2 tank-fills since I made that wick-n-coil... it's still some more time to 24-hrs. after which I'd post further details on it.

BTW, once the coil starts firing well over the SS Mesh it becomes safe (generally speaking) and we don't need to worry about the wick touching anything. That's b'coz the only electrical connection is at the coil wraps - the rest of it becomes non-conductive - it's just like a non-metal wick thereon, so to speak. I had been pondering over it for long... had worked out all those aspects thru various brainwaves(!) and finally took to going hands down with the 2nd Spheroid. Thought why not!

That wick loop is not that long actually. It's the angle of that shot I guess which makes it seem longer. Like I said, I've been thru 2 tank-fills and had no issues. ...Oh, I've to go for a refill now, catch u later.

Brother, I was gifted a spool of Hemp by our friend rumthin when he visited me sometime back. I've no clue where to find them. There are however, quite a few threads on it here in ECF.
