The Kick (2), is Evolv's drop in module for tube mods that adds their variable wattage technology to a mechanical mod.

Our Products « Evolv

I haven't been Kicked yet - and I seem to be doing just fine :)

So what is that going to do to my vaping experience, which is already very pleasant?

Not trying to sound clueless, but in fact I am when it comes to the "Kick". Trying to understand what that does to my vape.

You set your desired wattage on the Kick, drop it in your PV, it will read the resistance of your atomizer, and adjust the voltage to reach your specified wattage. You can swap atomizers with different resistance and your Kick will put out the necessary voltage to reach your wattage. You're basically turning an unregulated PV into a regulated PV.

I have an Evolv Kick and two Sigelei Kicks but I don't use them. I build my coils so I get my preferred wattage range from 4.2v down to 3.7v.

So one would need to know his/her desired wattage to even benefit. Yea, that's a little much. I couldn't begin to understand my desired wattage at this point. I wrap 28g-30g micro on 1/16" for 1.6-1.8. I'm not schooled enough to begin calculating wattage lol; although I'm sure it's easily done.

If you're happy with your vape right now, without knowing your watts, don't worry about the kick. Just keep vaping and be happy ;)

Watts are just as easy as volts and ohm once you get adjusted to it..

There are a TON of wattage vape graphs on the net to use..

The kick2 has a maximum height of 17,82 mm, according to a recent discussion I had with Brandon from Evolv.
We have designed extra telescopic posts for use exclusively with the kick2 and we shall have them in our hands on Sunday, 2 days after the GP PAPS X sales and 3 days before we receive the Kick2 from Evolv.

Therefore, we shall have them available at next week. I don't have any photos of them yet, but they are similar to GP Telescopic Centre post v2.5, minus the second screw and they are thinner.

We haven't silver plated them to save 0,3 mm length (15 micron is the thickness of the silver coating), keeping them as short we can.

We strive to get it early to put it inside the GP PAPS X orders.

Hi guys, hope you are all well.

I got bit by the reo and micro coil bug so have been hanging out over there. Apologies for being antisocial, especially after all the support you gave me over here.

I haven't checked up on the thread but guessing you are looking forward to the papsX being released.

Hope you all get one. I will look forward to seeing some pics.

Thanks qorax.

I still have all my paps.

The V2.5 SS is approx 2 or 3 months old and has never had a battery in it or had an atti screwed on the top.

I did consider selling some of them as they haven't been used since i got my Reo but I can't. They are stunning pieces of metal.

Has anyone seen a papsX yet other than in pictures and by MrPerseas of course.

Hello GP friends,
I have been dabbling in cotton for about 1.5 months but have been using non refined. My buddy xtreme and I have been talking a bit lately and he was nice enough to send me some cotton that he has been using along with other goodies. As Qorax shows in his picture, Sugar and Cream.
I had to get right on the build with one of my Piccolo/Spheroid combos that was begging for a build.
I boiled the cotton for 20 minutes(ok I am lying, my wife boiled it as I would of screwed something up :) ) to rid of all impurities.

I then wrapped my standard loop wick as, I am afraid the single strand would be weighed down from the juice and caramelization after a tank or so.

Then wrapped the bell/airtube with fluff and placed the tube over it and added some 50/50 to the fluff with syringe and soaked the wick also.

These pictures are simultaneous from the first fire. Very impressive vapor for a coil/wick setup on the first fire and not broken in.

I currently am on my second tank with no issues and fantastic flavor from the cotton. I am enjoying quite a bit more than my usual ekowool set up due to the clean flavour.
The wick is standing up and I am a believer that the loop wick is adding support and enhancing the wicking properties as it wicks the loops and there is more surface area of the cotton in contact with the fluff/juice.

Thank you again extreme for the cotton, Thank you again Perseas for the Spheroid.

D, I've posted the images & my first impressions of the Russian in the KFL thread

Q! I am sure your fancy photoshop will shadow my attempt :).

Hey! I still am a bit askew of the Russian. Why buy a clone if the original device is unflawed other than the very small amount of money saved? The Russian isnt even Russian, it is a clone.
1) Is it the airflow?
2) Is it the price?
or is there a coupon for a local strip club for the purchase of said atty?
I look forward to reading and looking at your fru fru pics!

checking it out now!

Sir, why the Russian? B'coz:
1. Wanted to check what the hullabaloo was all about,
2. Compare it to my K-Lites, and as it is I needed another Kayfun;)
3. I like the graphics & the overall hue of the Russian,
4. Got a tip from one of the members of this forum...
5. That it was available (in stock) within the country (Canadian vendor),
6. It was cheap -- $110 Shipped
