I should know definite as I am using two right now but, I am sure they are 16mm diam and 50mm in length with 510 threads 45mm without. It is a mm smaller than the Piccolo.

Yes. 1 mm smaller and honestly there is no comparison. The Spheroid is a much cleaner tasting, more flavorful, better vapour and easier to set up. Especially if using a basic set up on the Spheroid.
I am not sure many atty's can compare to the Spheroid in all around comparison.

True - I only used 1) my spheroids and 2) the 510LRs on Reo bottom feeders for a time now - and I'm happy with these... all the other equipment is gone / will go next days...
