Hey everyone, I've done a bit of searching, but this is much quicker i think :) whats the consensus on the button heating up? suggestions have been all over the place, and I'm not sure what the right answer is...basically, on my paps (not X) the button heats up...I'll try recoiling it tonight, but was wondering if I should do something else while I'm at it...thanks,

L

this happened to me and all the cleaning, reassembling, recoiling didnt fix it. (happened with multiple attys) turned out the center post on the button wore down and wasnt making good contact when the button was fully pressed. replaced the button with spares sent by perseas and works beautifully again. good luck!!

Nice one perseas, a solution in hand as usual!
Are you supplying the V2.6 post with new Paps out of interest? or will this just be to order as seperate item?

We include that with every GP PAPS X, but the simple 18350 GP PAPS v2.5 comes with the GP Telescopic Centre post v2.5. It can be purchased separately.

Perseas, I have a bit of a problem. I got a ss paps 2.5 from the last sale and today I was going to use it but can't. First problem is small, I received 2 thick center pins that adjust the battery contact rather than 1 thick and 1 thin. Second, is the switch kind of just fell apart. The nut that holds the switch came off and when I tried to screw it back on I couldn't. I think the threads may be messed up on either the switch or the nut.

Threads on inside post for the switch are reverse. Did you try that?

Send an email with your order number to info(at)vapourart.com and we shall send you the missing thin post.

As for the nut, try to screw it counterclockwise, because it has reverse threading for safety reasons.

I'm an idiot, that worked. I was trying to screw it on the regular way (hangs head down in shame). I can use the the the thin battery contact form my paps x so i'm good to go now. Thank you.

You are welcome, you are not the first, it is tricky :D, but send an email about the missing thin pin, it is a bit thicker from the one in the spares of the GP PAPS X.
