And we are awaiting pictures from you brother.....still....while you post videos of other people...your killing us bro :)

Ya know Idaho, picking the right beer is as hard as picking the right drip tip when it comes to moments like this! Have you ever uttered the words, "Hold my beer and watch this ..."? I can't believe I'm actually cleaning my living room just to take a photo of a mod but the GP demands no less in my opinion. :toast:

ETA: My woman is sleeping right now (It's 4am here) so I can't clean the room without waking her up. I took a picture anyway because as we all know, "Pics or it didn't happen!"

On the left side, which is the best side in life, is the GP Paps X in 18650 mode, middle we have a mean 'lil SS-2.5 18350 with an SS 18650 tube alongside it, of course a SnP 22' upfront, a nice pouch from Domo which has some cord that may or may not be wickable!

Last but not least -- the piece de resistance -- some Candy that came included in my vapemail (before the lady of the home steals it).

I'm hesident to post pictures until my Drip tips 'n Paps X ring arrive from Vapour Art, plus some slotted Boges from Surevapes until my dear sweet Sophia finds her way home.

...Do any of you more seasoned GP'ers prefer to use a magnetic safety battery fuse or is that redundancy unnecessary when you're using a Kick V1? Say for example, I'm vaping a LR cartomizer or one of my 1.5ohm HH.357 hybrid atomizers, would you still recommend a vape safe (or smoktech) safety fuse be used at all times? Or could that compress the spring too much (without adjustments) ? I only use nippletop AW IMR 18xxx batteries...

I neither use a Kick - nor a 2c Safety Fuse. And I only use mechanicals ~ since I started vaping. If you have quality gear - you'd not need them IMHO.

With a kick you shouldn't need a 2 cent safety fuse.

When using an atomizer like an HH357 I find a kick to be a great addition to get a little oomph out of it that a 3.7v unregulated vape can't provide. Check out the kick2, it's superior in every way for LR atomizers. I get way more vape-able battery life on an Hh357 than I would normally.

hey RHP, i saw that you put some NOALOX on your x.

You really shouldn't need it. and it will eventually make things worse.

What would you recommend for the upkeep of the threads long-term? A simple microfibre cloth or something along those lines? Because I only noticed a little squeeky in one of the sections, the rest are buttery smooth. Should I go in with a toothbrush 'n try to remove the noalax? Luckily i only used a tiny dab worth.

I soak my stuff in soapy water and use a toothbrush to scrub em down. Air dry then complete drying with cotton swab and a soft cloth towel..

Works like a champ for me.. I am OCD and give my gear a weekly bath.. LOL

Great idea, would it be ok to use a hairdryer to speed up the drying too? Thank you raq 'n biggie, i will not use noalax again on it. I owe ya's a beer next time you swing by Amish country :)

You're very welcome. Thank you for helping me transition into this wonderful new world of shiney mechanicals with the best switches in the industry! However, if you're on my friends list then you may receive angry telephone calls from my woman if I get carried away with my credit card. This is the price you pay for being on team RHP, folks.

Gotcha raq, thanks my dude! Is there any place I can "check in" with my serial number like getting my name registered on a master list or is that for other things? I thought I read something earlier about how you were waiting for a certain number but I forget what ya'll were talking about.

ETA: My first photo was embarassing because I just threw a carto on it without adjusting the center pin. Here is a more recent one for size comparison. Mr. 400mah, please meet 700mah :p

OK, I realize it's black "goo" but how is it going to make it worse? Capture more dirt?

Yes, it'll collect more dust and eventually get crunchier. As raqball correctly opined ~ just a regular 'wash' with our common kitchen dish liquid is good enough. I do that once a month.
