Iowa Gal, I am very jealous but happy you got your hands on a Piccolo! I am still holding out for the new ones, but since Perseas doesn't have an ETA yet I may have to start stalking the classies...not sure how much longer I can wait. I need a petite mod!!!

On another note, my Spheroid is out for delivery! When I checked the status last night it had finally made it to Cincinnati, but was sitting there collecting dust. I figured I wouldn't get it until Friday, but when I checked a little while ago I see it was flown to San Diego in the wee hours and is now within my grasp. Now I'm anxiously waiting for Vito (the dog) to tell me the truck is out front!

RhP, I didn't realize that the PAPS & LUX versions were much lighter than the X. I love my X but man it is a behemoth, even in 18350 mode. It's great for around the house, but not so much for work. That's one of the reasons I like the Piccolo, it's small profile is perfect. Maybe I need to look into a PAPS or LUX now.

Lastly, will Domo really have the bead blasted Spheroids soon??? :w00t: I am on their wait list for it, but will start to stalk them as well if this is true. I really wanted the BB - need something as klutz-resistant as possible - but purchased the brushed last week because I didn't have the patience to wait for it to become available.

OK, nobody every told me that vaping was going to save me money over buying analogs but I was foolish enough to believe it would...

wildvet I've been vaping a little over three years. It's easy to get caught up in wanting the next new toy on the market but learn from my experience..if what you have is working for you just stick with it. If you are having problems then it's time to look for something else. I am happier with my equipment right now than I have ever been.

I think I'm getting to that point too. At this point I just want a high end tank for my Sofia, a really nice mech and maybe a KFL , or the fabled 22mm spheroid…

Edit. Apparently my Spheroid parts and drip tip needed a signature so I have to wait until 8pm to go harass them for my package or wait till tomorrow :(

My break even date is two years out if I don't buy anything more (fat chance).

You are far past even. Health is priceless :)

Just received my KFL Plus from inTaste this morning. Had to check out the air control vs standard KFL.

I have learned to keep a post-it pad outside my door and have every page signed with a generic note for Fed Ex, DHL and UPS to leave packages. I feel I am working smarter not harder this way

Vito prevented me from signing for my package...the poor DHL delivery guy was too scared to bother letting me open the door :D

Thankfully I'm not generally the type to want the next great thing that hits the market. Another reason I went from the eGo-S starter kit straight to GP products. After tons of research, I figured out what I wanted and that's what I have. Just still need to complete the package is all: the Piccolo (thanks for the tip on placing a WTB ad, hadn't thought of that!) and maybe a lighter everyday mod that can last a bit longer than the little 14500 battery on a Piccolo. Then I'll be good!

Off to clean my Spheroid and start putting it together :)

So I just had to skip like 15 pages since I am so far behind on this thread. But, I am now the proud owner of a 100-Pack of the O-Rings Perseus suggested if you wanted to use the Panny batteries or something that needs insulating. If anyone wants a few let me know maybe a buck for so I can go buy some envelopes and stamps and I can send a few out. Its like 5 bucks for a 100 pack on amazon though.

In preparation for the Micro Stick, my Spheroid has arrived :D Now I just have to figure out how to get this little beastie to vape the way I like before the mod gets here ;)

I've been playing around with it all afternoon but I can't get it dialed in. I think I may have used too much filler. I've tried ss cable, ekowool, silica, and cotton wicks, all wrapped to ~1.1 ohms w/ 28ga--the taste I'm getting from all of these has me thinking the filler isn't supplying enough juice to the wick to keep up with my chain vaping :p

I went with 1" x 2.75" for the first build based on set up tips in the other thread; gonna try the 2cm x 4cm that's suggested in another post there and see how she vapes. I heart tinkering with new vape toys :)

This is the spec I use with the fluff stuff that comes with Spheroid from GP. Height isn't that crucial as much as width. After wrapping the filler, I trim the height to sit just lower than the stem. I got two boxes of Juwel that I haven't even tapped into yet.

You are lucky to have found the GP products when you were ready to move up from the Egos. I haven't had the Piccolo running long enough to determine how long it will last, but I do think you'd like it. I boiled the fluff for 5-10 minutes, patted dry with paper towel and microwave for about 1 min...then set it up.

I went with the 1" x 2.75 and cotton wick w/micro coil and was pretty happy with it right out of the gate:laugh:

Great! Are you using GP fluff or sera wool. I enjoy more fluff in the tank as long as it wicks well. If I can Ute a syringe down the sides and poke around there is a good amount. I also like the idea Poof holding asmuch juice as it can. In the tips thread I wrap about twice but the medium may be thinner. I have had no issues with any wick build in any of the spheroids.
You will find your sweet spot.

Sam, you are part of the family. A big part. I specifically remember OUR conversation about this thread and the great family and how others can not compete. In fact, you just described yourself as well.
There is no you our I in our family, it is us.
We are lucky to have Perseas. Love him.
Just had this conversation with Yankeebobo and his wife Jojo last night, they will be joining us shortly from GG.
Hey IDHO,where did the old gang (B A and Chick-bock,etc.)from high end chat go ?Nice to read you again btw.

Thanks! I have always been here. They decided another forum would be a better fit so they can be uncensored. I think they were tired of new people asking questions among other things. I spose I like meeting new people and love my old friends here. I don't like ripping up builds and the role of an Elitist. I decided to stay with Ecf bro. To many old friends and King P.
You should stick around, this is a great thread for GP and other mod talk.
