Always, you will figure out how easy it is and of to the races.
I broke my first tool and have to chuck it in a Dewalt and found I like the stability better than my Dremel.
Very light pressure with your medium choice as the tool can bend and get Wonky.

The tool saves me so much time as my old set-up was kinda hillbilly bro.
I just got in some walnut shell medium for my blaster I'm going to try later.

Good tip, the dewalt it will be. What do you recommend I pickup as far as sandpaper and any other needed supplies?

Pm in a few.Almost home.

I would be interested in this info as well. I have the PnB and the Dewalt, just wasn't sure about the other supplies. I have done a little research, and would agree with you that it doesn't look all that difficult. Having admired your work, I would like to attempt to replicate as close as possible. Will PM you.

I could use help from everyone. I REALLY want to like my SnP tanks but can't seem to get it right. I have had problems with it just dumping the fluid on a diver, killer and sophia so know it is the tank. The only thing I can tell is one of them will work "OK" meaning it doesn't flood but has part of the o-ring showing when I get it snug enough to hold pressure. The other two simply dump fluid no matter what.

Can somebody look at the picture of the three tops and tell me if your looks the same? The one in the top left is the one that works but my OCD won't stop stressing over the o-ring showing out the hole in the top (just maybe 1mm of it shows but is still enough).

Also, any recommendations on thicker o-rings I could use to get them to hold pressure?

If the bottom left picture shows a top cap with the O-ring onto the fill ports, then Huston we have a problem. The O-rings should protrude more and equally above the top surface. Send me an email to info@vapourart.com with your order number to fix it please.

Does this occur when you used cartomizers in your SnP? Are you using the same top O-rings (not the tiny fill port O-Rings) that came pre-assembled in your SnP or have you changed out your top O-rings (you know, to accommodate the Sophia)? Reason I ask is b/c I'm wondering if your loss of pressure is related to that, instead of your fill port O-rings.

GP Fam! I feel I've neglected you. My work week has grown heavier, so the weekends are my only playtime.

Since it IS Saturday, it is also mod attention day.

Time for the monthly drain, clean, shine, and rebuild.

Depending on the success of the build I put on the GT today, the KF3.1(polished) with custom Ohman shorty DT(polished) may hit the classies. I'm looking for another SnP, only the 22 this time, and Sophia/str20. Good luck eh?

ID, I think I PM'd you on this, but in case I forgot, thank you for your fluffy gift. ;)

Did you try them with other atomizers? Can you measure the drip hole of the Spheroid? I ask you, just in case the issue will be solved with a new bell.

Perseas, yes they fit just fine on my AGAt2's, as well as a little angle adapter that I have. I will say I got the classy version last month and when a friend & I went vape-shop hopping a few weeks ago I was using the tip to taste flavors and had some issues getting it to fit. I found that if I kept it perfectly vertical (as someone else here mentioned) I could eventually get it to fit. My angle adapter fits the spheroid just fine, so I'm currently using that w/ the drip tip in the adapter (again, no fit issues there).

I just tried again. Now I can get the vase style to fit - it makes a slight grinding sound as I insert/remove but it fits. Classy still refuses to go. I think I just need to wear down the O-rings a bit. I'll give it a few days/weeks and let you know?

Thanks for your concern!

It would seem that my 3rd Spheroid, acquired via a trade in the Classifieds, is a v1, and not the v2 that was advertised.

Can I purchase a full v2 base to replace the v1? The base leaks like no tomorrow, and I don't want to experiment to find out which piece was damaged by the previous owner.

I also think I'm going to tone down the use of the Classifieds. I've had too many "mishaps", really not worth it.

i use my drill to refinish scratches and such. 600 grit for the big gouges. use very light pressure to knock the high spots down. bring up the finish with 1000grit to get any scratches and finish with 1500grit. i use a mag aluminum wheel cream polish for a mirror finish. it takes longer to go from a brushed or blasted finish than to redo a polished. go easy on edges as you will round it over unless its a seam then you should be good. my setup is to lay the drill on a towel next to the sink with the part im polishing hanging over the sink. i fill the sink about 4inches with warm soapy water to dip my sandpaper in. scrub it with soap and hot water to get the cream polish off and use a toothbrush on the threads.

some stuff i have played with before i get the balls to try some gp stuff lol you can see on the bottom of the right Russian where i didnt get all the beadblasted finish off. i will be experimenting with doing a brushed finish when i have time.

I got very lucky as my purchase from someone I knew I could trust. I'm holding out for Domo to receive the Spheroids for my second purchase. The classifieds can be great or a real bust, it's always a gamble. Sometimes I think the people selling the items don't really know what they have.

When you feel that it has to corrected, throw me a pm or an email, there is a possibility a new bell to correct it.

qorax, thanks for the info. Based on that, it is a v1 - no wire.

perseas, let me mess around with it, I just replaced all the plastic insulators and the center pin with the ones from the replacement base I just received. If that doesn't fix it...

I cannot figure out what one has to do to break a Spheroid in such a way as to get it to leak.

The information from Qorax has to be corrected, I messaged him to rectify his post. The v1 Spheroid is the one with the wire inside and the v2 came out on September 2012 with the old logo. A few months later we introduced the new logo and the version remains the same till now with upgrades in machining and materials. We started from SS 303 with wire made with simple machines, we moved to SS 304 and now we use only EU certified 316 SS using modern machinery for all of our creations.

Therefore, a replacement kit is enough to fix this Spheroid, maybe you'll need a new bottom cap, but not necessarily.
