Good to know from the master...I just got my Spheroid last Friday, but I've been running a micro coil in another atty for about a month, and it still looks great. I think that the regular wick replacements help keep it looking good.

I did have quite a bit of trouble getting the Spheroid up & running. First I had too much "fluff". Then, I had to keep trimming the wick to make sure it was just touching the fluff, and not compressing when I reassembled. I could get almost no draw at all until I sorted those two issues. Even afterwards, the draw is still super tight.

I read much earlier in the thread that the air hole directly under the coil should be 1.2-1.25mm, and the holes in the 510 threading should be 1.0mm. The holes in my Spheroid are much smaller; 1.0mm & 0.8mm respectively. I was able to ream out the holes in the threading to 1 mm, as the material is fairly thin, but I could only ream out the vertical hole to about 1.1mm. My hardened steel micro reamers are no match for that thick of stainless steel.

It is a little better, but only slightly; has anyone else had this issue, and how did you solve it?

Did you try the same Spheroid over other Mods and see? Sometimes it is not the Spheroid but the Mod's top-cap!

Oh, I know...the Hippo V2 and my Provari mini are well aquainted.

Since the external air holes in the Spheroid are right up next to the base, I tried it on my (also brand new GP PAPS SS) and made sure that the air holes lined up perfectly with the air channels in the top of the PAPS. This give he best results, but it is still too tight. also tried it on the Provari with and without the Hippo, and even an old EVOD battery.

The real test is to do a draw on the Spheroid just by itself, no mod or battery attached. I tested this against a couple of other attys and the Spheroid is definitely much, much tighter...flavor & vapor are there, just feels like trying to suck a watermelon through a straw

I agree that it's a very tight draw , but once I got used to it I like it that way. Different draws for different attys and different styles of vaping. I wouldn't change a thing about the Spheroid.

Exactly, this is the real test. Your base is faulty and needs replacement.

I assume the one right under the coil?

My opinion of very tight might be a tad skewed because most of my stuff is 1/16 all the way to double 2mm.

Yes, the air hole between the 2 posts and check also the tiny air holes on the side of the 510 connection.

Perseas I know I'm a PIA but can you give a ballpark of when Domo will be restocked with Spheroids? I have been checking daily and am on the notify list just want to make sure my Bead Blasted Beauty doesn't slip between my fingers Does anyone else find that they treat their Lux like a baby? I take my SS everywhere, but can't bring myself to take the Lux out of the house..it's just so pretty

Mmmm! Nice. That same cute Kitty told me about Lime Cream. I'm all over that! I've heard Kent's blend is really good. I was only a tobacco guy until Ahlusion. With their flavors mixed in house and mostly natural they set me free.

He must have received them today, but the bead blasted weren't ready when we sent his shipment.

I would like GP or VapourArt bumperstickers. IdahoBro, one of my brothers, who is a Reo-vet called unsure, used to be crazy in love with GVC. Kept trying to push it on me but I never took him up on his offer. If you and the cooler GP'ers swear by this juice, then I will be willing to give it a fair chance, s'long as it has atleast 24mg of nicotine.

Is this one of those juices where you're allowed to select the amount of PG:VG? There lays my dilemma becuse my ADV is BFC from MsT and she doesn't disclose that info. And prior to msT i was in bed with Alienvisions run by Ben & Christine which as we all know iis home to a 100% VG NET which made for wicking nightmares and gunky coils so basically what I'm saying is after 14mo of vaping, i have yet to determine my preferred PG:VG ratio.
